We rather would say: "Der Sturm der Maschine", if it's only one. "Der Maschine-Sturm"?.... well, confusing. We would not use "Maschine" in connection with "Umsturz" because it points to the literally fall, not to the revolution. We know the "Industrielle Revolution" from the 18. century in England and western Europe. And hence the "Maschinensturm", a violent protest against the new machinery and the destruction of machines. I don't know, if that term exists in English. It comes from "stuermen", which means a violent assault of a place or building (e.g. "der Sturm auf die Bastille"). "Maschine Umsturz" still doesn't say anything, even if you put the missing "n" between the two words. "Umsturz" is associated with governments, rules, programs, but not with machines. According to "Maschinen..." it would rather be "...zerstoerung", "...sturm", "...revolution". Um ... the latter does not really fit, that's called "Industrielle Revolution". :) Sorry when it sounds hair-splitting, but German is properly an accurate language. -------------------- ^ö^ vegetarians are sexy.
