I am fairly sure I walked by it several times but can anyone point me in the right direction to find the Tome of Instruction or whatever they call it to use the controls and finish the game? Are you talking about VoDT? If you look for the instruction scrolls: you get them from Pangle, who lives in solitude on the hills. But he won't talk to you, before you talked to his friend in the village.
