In the middle of the night, a dark shape in a cloak entered the tavern without a sound. Several of the non-sleepers in the tavern saw him creep past, and watched him as he stealthily woke the barkeep, had a quite discussion, leave the barkeep and finally leave the tavern after picking up a few boxes from the back of the tavern. The non-sleepers decided that the inkeeper has friends hiding in the mountains who are good at sneaking around and perhaps it would be a good thing to have one of them at least help defend the tavern. At which point the shape returned, and left a note on which was written: "Goodbye, and thanks for all the fish."
