I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or had any idea what to do about it. I use Internet Explorer as my browser, and today I opened it up and for some reason all images are replaced by that small little box with a red "X." I can right click on each one, and select show picture and it comes up fine, but otherwise nada. Any suggestions? It's a bit annoying to spend ten minutes displaying each picture one by one to be able to view a website. Posts: 287 | Registered: Thursday, February 13 2003 08:00 |

You've probably somehow set it not to automatically load images and other content. Check your preferences; I don't use IE, so I don't know exactly where you'll find the appropriate option. -------------------- I believe there are 15 747 724 136 275 002 577 105 653 961 181 555 468 044 717 914 527 116 709 366 231 425 076 185 631 031 296 protons in the universe, and the same number of electrons. -- Sir Arthur Eddington Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Mine does that sometimes for apparantly no reason at all, and even if I right-click to open image it still doesn't do anything. -------------------- I say never be complete. I say stop being perfect. Try command-option-refresh. Works sometimes. If not, send an angry email to Jeff. -------------------- ... Posts: 647 | Registered: Wednesday, February 19 2003 08:00 |

That's a scary thought. Am I sure I want to have the software of the mastermind behind Microsoft on my PC? It's completely illogical of course. After all Jeff uses a M.A.C. (to paraphrase TGM: I'm gonna get smacked viciously for that one.) [ Tuesday, September 16, 2003 09:50: Message edited by: Arancaytar ] -------------------- "And all should cry, Beware, Beware! I would try: Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, Multimedia, put a check in Show Pictures. I'm not a geek/nerd/phreak/haxor so I wouldn't know more than that, sorry. -------------------- I'm tired of the strain and the pain, ohhh, I'm tired of the strain and the pain.
