No contest really, I don't think any of the other rebel characters are developed as fully as Greta is. Jared is basically just a standard spell-shop. I suppose I might also have voted for Pirik, had she been included in the poll... -------------------- "I can't read this thread with that image. No foolish Rebel deserves the praise of Nalyd. But Greta was the best developed. Ghaldring, if he was in the poll. He surprised you. -------------------- May the fires of Undeath burn in your soul, and consume it. Posts: 1636 | Registered: Wednesday, January 5 2005 08:00 |

Agree, I really liked Ghaldring's style. I'm curious about the kind of customs and laws his strategic mind developed, knowing as he did the drakon mindset, that he couldn't achieve his goals alone but he'd be swimming with sharks if he surrounded himself with 'new and improved' drakons. I also wonder if their racial isolation was something he cultivated or a design flaw he couldn't get around. Posts: 42 | Registered: Thursday, March 31 2005 08:00 |

Although she was a bit character in this one, I liked Litalia and her effort to regain her humanity. Posts: 8 | Registered: Thursday, February 22 2007 08:00 |

If Tyrol does survive, does he do anything? He reminds of Jared and the Drakons with his behavior. He has only used 2 canisters, what is his excuse? jared has his canister addiction, drakons can't really fight their desighn, but Tyrol just seems like he is a Drakon in a human's body. Neither Tyrol nor the servile (I forget the name) can survive past the first zone, even if you cheat. Tyrol, Dikiyoba guesses, was just an arrogant person to begin with. He's good with magic; good enough to be granted honors like canisters and the chance to use the geneforge. It all went straight to his head. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Actually, if you cheat you can make Tyrol survive. The way he is so confrontational Jeff just assumed the kyshakk would kill him. So no scripting in his death, unlike Magda. Strangely if there isn't a War Trall to kill her she just trips and breaks her leg. She is supposed to be a healer, yet she can't mend a simple injury. Anyways, Tyrol vanishes with everyone else, never appearing again and only giving out some experience when he hits Southforge. -------------------- Do you remember me now? Can you think of any reason to vote for him? I am relatively new and so may be overlooking something. Posts: 51 | Registered: Tuesday, June 26 2007 07:00 |

Not unless he's your favorite character. :P Don't put too much stock in these poorly-designed polls. So many characters are missing it's practically worthless. Dikiyoba. [ Tuesday, June 26, 2007 19:52: Message edited by: Dikiyoba ] Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Yeah, far to many missing characters, like Pirik. Not to mention characters that don't deserve to be there, like Tyrol. Personally my all time favorite characters from each game are: Ellhrah Barzahl Greta Miranda Shockingly enough, I just loved the Miranda character. I hope she's in the next game, relativly unchanged. Like loyalist with a rebel ending. -------------------- Do you remember me now? Posts: 1186 | Registered: Friday, June 18 2004 07:00 |

Greta was a great character in G3, and in G4 she's not much worse, just a bit more passive (at least at the beginning) Don't know much more, haven't played further than the demo yet... -------------------- Computers make very fast, very accurate mistakes. I like Jared, it's fun to watch him go slowly insane, allthough Greta does have the most character deveopment. Posts: 18 | Registered: Saturday, April 28 2007 07:00 |
