I was wandering what was the most interesting things (in a strange way) that you have ever done in G1-3. Mine is probably a common one, I destroyed the Awakened town (I was an Obeyer) with only a group of ornks. -------------------- "After I'm dead I'd rather have people ask why I have no monument than why I have one." - Cato the Elder (234-149 BC) "The mind, if it exists, is nothing but an unfortunate after effect of the brain process." -Kripke "One should die proudly when it is no longer possible to live proudly." -Friedich Nietzche Posts: 333 | Registered: Saturday, May 20 2006 07:00 |

I turned my graphics around in G1 and destroyed every living thing as a fyora. In G3, I somehow inverted my character's robe color. My stunt in #3, as a result of this, was to call myself The Unbound One and proceeed to obliterate every Shaper I met. -------------------- You Shall Die Laughing: http://www.worfthecat.ermarian.net/converted The Roost: www.roost01.proboards104.com. I once tried to change the Ornk created by the party into a battle mage that cast Diamond Spray. I did that successfully, but imagine my surprise when I walked into a rural area and found a bunch of mages milling around, mooing, and eating grass. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. I think my most "interesting" stunts were actually planned for by the game designer, so they probably don't qualify. The fun for me comes in picturing a flesh-and-blood human being actually pulling this stuff off. My personal favorite was beating the GF3 Shaper testing grounds with nothing but roamers - which I did by skedaddling when the enemies appeared, running back to the regen pools while my roamers concentrated on one enemy at a time, then running back with newly-created roamers to carry on the fight. I pictured the Shapers awarding me the "Supreme Order of Chateau Generalship" - or at least a commander's coin with the inspiring motto: "A true shaper knows when to lead from behind. And we mean, like, WAY, WAY behind." But I think that's what you're supposed to do. (And it's probably been discussed when I wasn't lurking here.) Posts: 63 | Registered: Tuesday, July 4 2006 07:00 |

I think I've done one fairly noteworthy one. GF2, I wanted to reach my high point in power before joining any faction (So I could make a save and get all endings). So, I needed to conquer Gazak-Uss. So, what I did, was, (with a shaper with 6 creations) Snuck my way through all of Benerii-Uss Getting every crystal piece. The problem was, I could not kill ANYONE with a name, or clear ANY of the areas, or I would p/o the takers. (I think the hardest part was getting the piece in the labs without Salgurdar noticing.) -------------------- Learn from others mistakes. Its safer and more entertaining than learning on your own. Yes, but it turns out that the Ornk I changed also is the Ornk that you see just wandering around. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed. Posts: 2686 | Registered: Friday, September 8 2006 07:00 |

Well, so long as your character wasn't wanting food at the time it would be okay. Originally by Nioca: quote:That's what Sarasaphilia just said. "Base for all ornk imports" means it will affect all ornks. That said, all you'd have to do is find all the places in the script where that ornk is imported and put the original stats in for them. It'd be tedious, but workable if you knew what you were doing. Dikiyoba. Edit: Added quote. [ Thursday, January 18, 2007 14:52: Message edited by: Dikiyoba the Great ] Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Destroyed the Awakened town on Torment with an unarmored Shaper wielding a stick. Clarification. I meant that the Ornk that your character can create is the same one that wanders outside. I had already made sure to modify everything that imported Ornk so it worked normally. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed. You're right, my bad. But then where is the "friendly Ornk" type used? Wherever they may be, Dikiyoba thinks we must keep them from interbreeding with the intelligent ornks, because from there it's only a short step to learning how to talk, growing to enormous size, and flirting with everyone they meet. I must say Diki, that would be terrifying. GIFTO? I like gray-scaling the guardians. It just looks cool. Sometimes I draw on the monsters and add mustaches and whatnot. -------------------- You acquire an item: Radio Free Foil Posts: 1169 | Registered: Monday, September 23 2002 07:00 |

Maybe, maybe not. Andraste, do you have screenshots? Dikiyoba is picturing a drakon with a mustache and artilas with tattoos. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

No I don't. All my edited files were lost in the great crash of August '06. :( But, I do have a lot of spare time this weekend. Maybe something will show up... :Edit: Ugh. I forgot how tedious paint editing was. Here's a start on what they look like. I've only done the mustache from this angle though. -------------------- You acquire an item: Radio Free Foil Posts: 1169 | Registered: Monday, September 23 2002 07:00 |

From that one angle, it looks like the Fyora has grown large, floppy ears. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed. Posts: 2686 | Registered: Friday, September 8 2006 07:00 |

Wait a sec. The most advanced piece of technology the Shapers have is the Geneforge, which is essentially working on crude guesswork of how to rewrite a person, and yet there's Fyora running around with iPods?!? I smell a conspiracy here. :P -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed. Posts: 2686 | Registered: Friday, September 8 2006 07:00 |
