We've got to convince Kel to do a "300" scenario. SPARTAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! "This is where we hold! This is where they DIE!" (Ephesos: Giant images are bad. Links are nice.) Erm, I think it could make a decent scenario. Not great by any means, and we all know how large battles make BoA cry... Ever get the feeling that you're being tested? It's a holiday. Give it a little time. I'm not sure a 300 scenario is viable (the first thing that comes to my mind is the "getting the party involved" standpoint)... but it would be interesting to see what our designers, especially Kel, come up with. -------------------- The Silent Assassin tells me that tonight, he dines in the basement. I just watched 300, and found it... not quite what I had expected. I suppose it's good, but I didn't really enjoy it. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. Give us your drek! The portrayal of Xerxes was a low and manipulative attempt to attack the modern Iranian character. And the designer might want to play up either the strength of the Spartans or the weakness of the Persian Empire. The party could be a group of soldiers or bodyguards of the Spartan king, or could even be on the Persian side. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

Gee, sorry. I didn't mean to make everyone hate me. I just thought Kel could make a kick-a$$ scenario about 300 for my personal enjoyment. :( -------------------- "Sometimes I get all hungry! I think Kel's done writing scenarios despite how awesome Exodus was. I mourn the loss of the future scenarios that, as everyone knows, will only be even better. Considering all the work that went into Exodus, I'd be pretty tired too. Making scenarios is hard work, specifically in the planning stages. If you can get past that first difficult stage, the rest becomes pure technical work. I'm sure when inspiration hits, Kelandon will be back with another well-crafted adventure. It wasn't that. Kelandon said he quit because of general reaction to Exodus (It took dead last in the 8th scenario contest). Frankly, after all the work that was put into it, I'd be extremely upset too. I probably wouldn't quit because of it, but I suppose to each his own. -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! Anger and frustration are short-lived. Unless Kelandon has become completely unhappy with BoA, I'm sure we'll see another scenario from him. Posts: 1233 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

I personally hope he's not done. I really enjoyed Bahssikava, though I still haven't played Exodus. LP was pretty good too. *pokes at Kel* Though I do agree with Enraged Slith. It's tough work, and it takes some inspiration. If and when he's ready, he'll make another. Until then, it's not like anyone else's fingers are crippled. You can always try making it yourself. -------------------- Do not provoke the turtles. It would be a great pity of Kel would stop, but shall we maybe stop discussing it? He will decide for himself. If he says no, then so be it, but we won't like it. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. Give us your drek!
