I just noticed how much of a workaholic you are. Not only have you produced two versions of each game you created, but you have now created (by my count) sixteen separate titles in only 14 years. Thanks for making something that I enjoy, and thanks for being so prolific.

Congratulations Jeff especially since you've said that you don't like your job. Here's to the next one.

You can have a cookie and my promise not to stab you unless you threaten me.

You forget that even if you stab Jeff, he is powerful enough to destroy you before you draw your edge

I had a classmate that was science consultant for Star Trek: The Next Generation who was probably happy until Enterprise got cancelled. At least he wasn't the idiot that allowed some of the junk they used at the beginning to get through to final script. Clean the ship of baryons, now really there goes almost all of it.

Edit - Now you guys know what you can do with a physics degree.

I love my job, but I imagine it will get old if I do it full-time for fourteen years.

Stabbing.

—Alorael, who offers Jeff his congratulations for a lifetime of games (going by some fans' ages) and for keeping the art of the fun RPG alive.

I would hope Jeff wouldn't need our congratulations to keep motivated for making games, but in case it helps...

He may not need them, but he still deserves them.

Avernum 5 is splendid.

I suppose it may be some measure of what I think of the quality of Jeff's recent output that I'm waiting until I graduate in May to start in on some of the last few games. I'm a year or two behind on Spidweb works, because school and work have been so time-consuming that I've feared the addiction that comes from playing anything Jeff has made.

So congratulations indeed, although I won't know what I'm congratulating you on until at least three months from now.

I don't get why people would take the time to post to say that they don't have the time to play the games on who's very forums they are posting.

Well, of course. Dikiyoba does that too. With the G4/A5 encumbrance system, it's easier than ever.

I was saying I WOULDN'T stab Jeff unless he was seriously going to rape or harm me in some way, which would be self-defense. Jeez...
