I'm pretty sure Synergy is younger. But this is a good study of evolution in action. Too bad this didn't happen before passing on the idiot gene. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

I just noticed that the reporting is shoddy. No where does it say if the technique worked. Maybe they were worried about copycat mechanics? -------------------- Synergy, et al - "I don't get it." Shooting stuff is quite the versatile last option. I heard a local interest story on the news in May about a West Virginia man who used a shotgun to blow a hole through the floor of his trailer so that he could install his new cable system. -------------------- The Silent Assassin claims to use specialized guns to do anything from painting to cooking to getting the neighbors' dogs to be quiet. Yeah, but he's arguably not an idiot, and even those who would debate that point would agree he's not a redneck. :P -------------------- The Noble and Ancient Order of Polaris - We're Not Yet Dead. I'm sure we do, although they're not usually gun nuts (it's not easy to be one in a country with good gun control). I looked redneck up in the dictionary and got weißer reaktionärer Hinterwäldler (white reactionary backwoods-dweller), which sounds technically accurate to a degree but which I don't know any shorter epithet for. We do have much worse than rednecks in the rural parts of Saxony - but they're compared more accurately to the KKK. Wisconsin has rednecks, though, and they don't have the back-hills drawl. It think it's a state of mind. And hair - a mullet is a dead giveaway. QFT = quit fixing typos? Synergy also hasn't posted in a short while. And this is funny stuff. Shooting oneself in the foot is always funny. Dikiyoba would say hick is closer to redneck than yokel, but that might just be local dialect. -------------------- Episode 4: Spiderweb Reloaded Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |
