I am curious. What are the pets of the creatures from these boards? In my house there are 2 cats, 2 dogs, 3 rats, and a snake. The first cat (can't spell name), is a two-year-old cat whose fur is bluish (but looks gray at a glance). She loves attention and treats. The other cat is a fiendish male kitten who chases the other cat, attacks random people, and he thinks he is a dog. His fur is black. The first dog is one I have known before I can remember, she is 12 years old. She also barks at strangers (until they start petting her). Her name is Pepper The second dog is a golden retriever (two years old I think). He is, however, not very smart. He plays with the kitten. His name is Chester. There are three rats (I can't remember there names, they have been in my sisters' room so long I forgot), they are very social. The older one likes to escape from the room (when she is out of the cage). I have seen her chase around the two year old cat. The snake, her name is Doorstop. That is all I will say. (Oh, and my house is rat chase cat chase dog. What are your pet/s (If you have any). -------------------- I can transform into almost anything, though not sanity. My black cat died earlier this year. He was a bit skittery and slender and velvety soft, but outside, despite his leanness, he seemed to win most of his catfights. Scrappy little guy. Now, no pets, alas. As a teenager, I had lizards, mantises, ant lions, monarch butterfly caterpillars, fish, birds, hamsters, tarantulas, goats, ducks, collie dogs, cats...I love animals and most fascinate me. -S- -------------------- A4 Items • A4 Singleton • G4 Items • G4 Forging • G4 Infiltrator • NR Items • The Lonely Celt Posts: 2009 | Registered: Monday, September 12 2005 07:00 |

I had a boxer until couple years back. He name was Buster. He was about 13 and died from an age related heart attack. Very friendly and very protective. Would bark at me and my dad when we roughhoused. In his latter years he became house trained and would wake me up at 5 in the morning so I take him outside to do his business. Never got him neutered. -------------------- A rock has weight whether you admit it or not Posts: 479 | Registered: Wednesday, July 12 2006 07:00 |

quote:Are we supposed to say what kind of creatures we are? I think I'm human, and I have an outdoor tabby named Ticky-Ticky who's probably about 14; the pound didn't know his birthday. He walks in circles around you when you pet him so he can control where he gets rubbed. There are also about four cats that come to visit our yard. There's Maddox, a younger B&W cat with no tail who used to annoy our cat. (Now they're friends.) There's a long-haired B&W cat who's friends with Ticky. We've seen another black and white cat come very rarely. There's also an orange tabby that gets into brawls with Ticky. Once his cheek got slashed open and he bled all over the place. -------------------- "Of course, not all technology is good. In a similar way you think you're a large, magical muffin. Anyways: I am ninety-eight percent human, and my pet is a German Shorthaired Pointer, which for those who don't know, is a dog. Her name is Abby, she is three years old, and naps most of the day. I used to have a pet hampster named Peanut, but she died last year. Similarly, I used to have a pet dog, also a GSP, named Maggie, but she died three years back. Also, when I was very young I had another dog called Vickie and a bird called Tweetie, if I recall correctly. They both died when I was three or four. The irony of this post is that I prefer cats to dogs. As well as the fact that both my siblings have cats. -------------------- i dont ned noo steenking signachur. It's not that redundant. A while ago, we had someone here who was deeply convinced he was a fox. ... Anyway. I had a green budgerigar once, but he died several years ago at the proud age of 11. I had been thinking about getting a cat after that, but soon afterward I moved away. Current arrangements (student dorm, home on weekends) aren't very ideal for keeping pets, and my mother's allergic to cats anyway. So it'll be some time before that dream is realized. -------------------- The Noble and Most Ancient Order of Polaris - We're Not Yet Dead. We have two cats, one that thinks she's a person, Patches. This one only drinks out of glasses and will only eat the fanciest foods. The other, Nemo, who is handicapable, eats anything that fits in his mouth...needles, nickels, cake batter, whatever. The vet LOVES this one. I "rescued" him from the family farm, he's not very bright and couldn't fend for himself with the other farm cats. Now we know he just suckered us in. -------------------- http://www.goozex.com/trading/asp/join.asp?idr=412684821 Posts: 145 | Registered: Sunday, February 18 2007 08:00 |

Two dogs, one cat, a guinea pig, and some goldfish. I'd say that one of the dogs (a 14 year-old, half-blind "gray Labrador" who has survived being hit by cars twice) is on her last legs, but she collapsed in February and earlier this month and recovered each time, so who knows how many sets of legs she has left. At home, my family has a hamster. Her name's Tula, and she's a Russian dwarf hamster, a breed of pet which I highly recommend. She's spoiled rotten by my mom, and to a lesser extent my sister. She normally gets a little piece of whatever we're eating. As for myself, I have a ton of plants, and a pair of bettas, named Yoshimitzu and Betty. Got 'em as a gift, and yes, the names were chosen for me. (Can't find a picture right now, sadly) -------------------- TM: "I want BoA to grow. Evolve where the food ladder has rungs to be reached." So I should change my shown name? Like for example...Some Random Dude? Fine. But the sig stays the same (except for the first part). Anyway, so who made a poll about pets. -------------------- Muffins n' Hell|Muffins n' Hell: The Muffins Are Back Again I have an addiction to Spiderweb games. ...right. Nevermind. Pick any name you want. The last pets poll was started by Nalyd. -------------------- TM: "I want BoA to grow. Evolve where the food ladder has rungs to be reached." Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. Posts: 4130 | Registered: Friday, March 26 2004 08:00 |

quote:Curing people of their desire to start polls may be my calling. That I usually administer polls as part of the treatment is just part of the mystery. With all due deference to Aran, statistics just don't matter in a group this small, and don't reflect anything other than the opinions of voluntary poll takers. As data aggregators they are woefully inadequate, as they fail to provide the individual with the requisite choices and inevitably require explanations. Much simpler in the end to just ask a question and get answers. Any data hounds can sniff out statistics from the words, but at least the rest of us aren't left without fodder for interesting discussions. -------------------- WWtNSD? Synergy - "I don't get it."
