Killzone, GTA San Andreas and A2. Might dabble in other games on the side just for a little bit of variety. -------------------- When you think you can't get any lower in life and hit rock bottom, God hands you a shovel. It depends what you mean: do you mean games that I just play a lot at the moment, or games I used to play a lot be of general laziness I stopped with them for now? Anyway: Games I play a lot now because I like them: Prey, Return to castle Wolfenstein Games I really like in general (pretty much all games I have): Prey, retrun to castle wolfenstein, Flight Simulator X (and before that Flight Simulator 2004 and 98), Star Wars Battlefront II, Battlefield 2, Avernum 1, 2, 3 BoA, Dark Castle 1 and 2 (yeah, these black an white games from the late eighties). I think that'd be it. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. Give us your drek! I spend far too much of my time writing or designing BoA scenarios. I do dabble in Star Wars: Battlefront II though. And I've been playing BoE lately too... The game I've played by far the most was Civilization 4. Other games that I've enjoyed for more than a few days were BoE, Master of Magic, Master of Orion, and, in no particular order, Geneforges 1 and 2, Avernum 2, Nethergate, SubTerra, Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, and whatever else I am forgetting. Currenly, my limited playing time is spend mostly on KoL (Kingdom of Loathing) and sometimes Runescape. -------------------- Be careful with a word, as you would with a sword, For it too has the power to kill. World of Warcraft über alles. When there isn't enough time for epic questing, Wolfenstein will do for a quick violence fix. Before WoW, all my time was spent on Diablo II. Before there was Wolfenstein, there was Doom. Best all time games of... all time: Fallout I & II, TIE Fighter, Age of Empires II, and Warcraft II. quote:When I want a game that requires thinking, I play Civ4. (And play it well enough to win some competitive events, while we are at it.) When I want to be amused, or to do some light grinding, I play KoL. When I am too tired to think and just want level grinding, I play Runescape. Right now, I'm playing my own, somewhat lame, Visual Basic games. Other stuff... solitaire, minesweeper, pinball. Most games I'm holding off till the summer to play, when I have more time to do it all at once. -------------------- "I liked white better." Posts: 771 | Registered: Tuesday, December 11 2001 08:00 |

"Or" in that sentence is a disjunction, rather than an explanation. KoL is a parody of a MMORPG, built entirely from jokes. However, all jokes get old after a while and the game can also be played as a regular MMORPG. -------------------- Be careful with a word, as you would with a sword, For it too has the power to kill. Games I've played the most (not saying I like 'em now): Klondike, Spider Solitare, Jezzball, SimCity for Windows 3.1, Alpha Centauri, StarCraft, Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight I, Star Wars Rebellion, Red Baron, Need For Speed II, Road Rash, Wacky Wheels, Doom I, Wolfenstein 3D, Keen 4 & 5. Good times. EDIT: How could I forget Oregon Trail? Dum-da-da-da-da-da-da-dum-da-da-da-dadada-dum. (DUM-DUM-DUM.) -------------------- Durkon: Aye, I'll be takin' tha Amulet o' Natural Arm'r. Grinding to turn up Freddy Krueger references is never not funny. And who in their right mind would want to miss out on a Talisman of Baio? -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

I found KoL fun, too, for a while, but the ultimate joke of it seems to be that it reproduces grinding. Which is also funny, I guess, but the punchline is too long. After my tenth barbecue team, my enthusiasm waned. -------------------- We're not doing cool. We're doing pretty. Posts: 3335 | Registered: Thursday, September 4 2003 07:00 |
