Has the name Spiderweb Software or any of their games, employees, or pets been mentioned yet in this thread?

Yeah, but I'm catching up. Slowly.

Yes, you are. By mid February, you'll probably have twice my posts. But I'll enjoy this while it lasts.

Bah. Relevence is overrated. Just say whatever you feel like saying.

Seconded. Someone should do that. Then I could get mad at that game too, like I do when I play all other Monopoly games.

He's 14 behind me, it won't be hard to hold 10th from him/her.

Et we're fighting for tenth and I won't fail.

See, now you've made it a situation where one person wins and the other person loses. Now Emperor Tullegolar is going to be determined to win, whereas if you had just kept silent, you would have had no problems whatsoever.

Meta-spam will not be tolerated.

At some point, someone is going to use the "meta" prefix one too many times, and mass insanity will ensue. More than usual. Either that, or it will just circulate to such a degree, that soon concepts will include 3 or 4 "meta-" prefixes before you can actually state what you are talking about. This post, for example, constitutes meta-meta-meta spam.

Edit: Forgot to get rid of the picture. Seemed a bit redundant.

Ephesos is male, and if the spamfest proved anything, it proved that 14 posts is not a large gap to cross.

But it's okay, because it will only be meta-insanity.

I fail to see how there will be much of a fight between you two. Rather, it's just Tullegolar trying to get into the top ten.

Phew. I just jumped back to second, and am only two posts behind Thuryl.

To all the newbies: It will soon be exactly a year since I left the rankings out for a whole month just to stop the spam. That wasn't easy back then - the lousy code took hours to mess with.

With the reworked site, it would fortunately be a matter of seconds. :)

That wouldn't be wise. If you did that, then everyone would be in a blind posting fury, constantly posting to stay on top. Since they can't see whether they're in the top ten, they don't know when to settle down, thus increasing the rate of spam. :)

Two months. Three if they complain.

Dikiyoba is sure that is why Spiderweb has four General moderators, so that each one can focus on a different thing if necessary.

*i hasn't had any good fun in a while. And this veiled threat seems like the best reason yet to pull the statistics for a month or two. Or more.
