Touched it up, changed background color. I guess the "E"s were a bit hard to read, so changed the halberd (it wasn't a spear) into a slith spear. I still like the Vahnatai the way she is. I liked Alorael's no-mouthed Vahnatai look, I sometimes imagined them looking that way in my head.  But I still like the surface/cave logo the best. I prefer ADoS Logo 1.1 more than 1.2. The second version is too cluttered. That said, the lopsidedness of the whole from the different sizes of the sword and the waveblade is not so good anyway. —Alorael, who could not produce a vahnatai mouth that didn't look absurd. The first version was better, ADOS. The crystal is better off disappearing than being stuffed in between the text and the swords, and the sun looks kinda like an HIV virus, or a shrivelled koosh ball. I like the idea behind TGM's, but not the image itself. Mainly it's the upper left quadrant I have a problem with. There are too many lines in one place, given that you also have fairly small text there; it's sort of disorienting if you look at it in passing. Does the crown need any changes? It looks a bit iffy to me. EDIT: Also, Slarty, if you like Exile stuff better, you may have noticed that I used the Exile waveblade (note the hilt) rather than the Avernum one. I like the Exile one better, personally. Avernum's is okay too, though. Actually, I'm starting to lean more towards the one with the swords, now that it's starting to look better. I definitely like the one with the cave and surface much more as a piece of artwork, but I think the swords would make a better logo. Simple, but gets the point across, you know? Of course, if the landscape one is chosen, I definitely won't complain. I really like it. Some suggestions though: Would they look more like mushroom in a pale yellow? Avernum needs lava, maybe a pool of it on the bottom right? On the surface, maybe make the city/castle walls lower and have a tower or two sticking out the top? My god, there really is a moose. -------------------- You lose. I disagree. I think having the bottom entirely in cool colors and the top in warm colors works very well. While I can see how the much-improved crossed swords are a better emblem, I still think the second one makes a better logo. —Alorael, who thinks a vote is unnecessary unless there's any serious disagreement. The only warm color in the surface picture is yellow. Besides, I always thought Avernum was uncomfortably hot and humid, unless there was an undead curse or something nearby.
