Sorry to bump a semi-dead topic, but I found another picture of me: If link doesn't work (which it doesn't), right-click on the '-' and select View Image. Taking advantage of the revival: I've been going on about getting new glasses several times, and here they are. [ And I promise that this is the last batch I'll inflict on you. Honestly. Aran, you're lucky you get to plan for new glasses. With me I always end up breaking them within 6 months and having to go in and get a new pair a few days after that. I've even gotten those "unbreakable" Nike ones (complete with the tick) and they broke as well. I guess I should stop messing around while I have them on but I just never bother. Oh well, at least the insurance is used for something. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Mine don't usually break, but they get horribly twisted and lopsided and I try to bend them back into shape but fail miserably and end up wearing bent glasses for a year before getting new ones. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Happy Happy Joy Joy Encyclopedia Ermariana - Trapped in the Closet ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! I take decent care of my glasses, so I can keep them for two or three years before getting new ones (although they tend to need to be bent back into shape every two or three months). They are probably still useable for longer than that, but I have had a pair literally fall apart on my face and I don't care to repeat the experience. Plus, Dikiyoba gets new lenses almost every year, so it's good to keep a somewhat current backup pair around in case the current pair breaks. I got around having to constantly fix my glasses; which, with my coke-bottle prescription, used to happen quite a but. Quite effective, since I had them for the past 8 years. I need to get used to these new ones, which can be bent by taking them off carelessly. -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. Jeff and one of his spawn. As for Alorael, that is still shrouded in mystery. -------------------- "You're drinking liquor because you're thirsty?
