You figured out his/her gender from that photo? I sure couldn't. :P

Is Dikiyoba female? I didn't know that... But then again, what DO I know about the Spiderweb community... Nothing at all. And I'm quite content with that.

Hopefully some new pictures soon.

I was a bit unsure because I have seen many guys with long hair (I have it myself), but I think Dikiyoba looks like a girl in that picture. Hence my surprise.

My apologies if I made a bad faux-pas there. :P

I have nothing new yet and I am too fond of most of you to inflict that same old picture on you again.

Judging by the hands, I will vote for Dikiyoba being a chick. If it turns out I'm wrong, I can deal with that. I will feel silly for a few minutes and then forget about it.

Somehow I pictured MM looking far more evil.

Time for a new one already? Goddamn Alec, when I said I might post in the next photo thread, I assumed it would be at least six months until it showed up. Oh well. I actually have an abundance of pictures of my face - a few of my friends seem to think I'm the most interesting thing to shoot when under the influence. Here's a selection:

Giving a neutral glance
Pose

Wow, this is really scary. I haven't had a picture of me online since 1998. Nevertheless, many thanks to Aran for hosting the files. I am in your debt.

Holy christ, you're a woman.
...

I gotta say. I'm 100% surprised on that count. Your brand of inanity tends to be uniquely male. (In fact, I almost don't believe you.)

Whoa, TM. I didn't think much of that "noob attack" script, myself, but how has Dikiyoba earned that level of ire from you? :P

I too am surprised to find out that Dikiyoba is a woman, but only because she has never corrected the frequent use (by others) of male pronouns to refer to Dikiyoba. As far as personality goes it makes perfect sense to me.

I think that, unlike Alorael, Dikiyoba has been inclined not to use pronouns in Dikiyoba's signature even when they would make a great deal of sense. Dikiyoba simply says "Dikiyoba" whenever Dikiyoba means Dikiyoba's self (or rarely "I").

But I could've sworn I saw Dikiyoba mention this once before, and I promptly forgot it until now.

EDIT: This also changes the tone of Dikiyoba's declaration of non-desire for romance.

I am surprised too. Dikiyoba is female? I don't know why, but I always figured she like a male, maybe for his (ops...)HER PDN...

Soon I will post a picture of myself. You will see the beautyness of an Italian boy! ;) (it's a joke of course... :D )

P.S.: "beautyness". I wanted to say "bellezza". It's the right word? I lost my English dictionary...

If it's a joke, haha.
If not, 'beauty' should be enough. Although 'beautyness' has a nice ring to it. :)

Dikiyoba, I recommend you buying an Evil Overlord helmet. Not only does it excuse you from awkward questions about your gender, but it allows you vital moments to commence your plans for world domination while the Heroes are distracted by your unruly helmet hair.

No, I haven't watched it. I'll look into it.

... and an OotS quote, because it's so applicable, and I couldn't resist.

EDIT: One more post...

Have a guide to great literature. Mostly because I want to post it.

—Alorael, who indeed sees that "everybody dies" is very close to great literature. Not verbatim, but close.

Could Dikiyoba's pictures be a [slightly late] April Fools joke?

If he/she/it is female, the avoidance of 3rd person pronouns in self-references would make sence. (Similar to Alorael's insistence on not revealing his age several years ago.) Some other things would also fit (for example, link to daily kitten and phrase "tastefully spamming").

I guess it does make sence the more I think about it, so if this isn't a joke, the only question is, why didn't you keep the ambiguity going even longer, to see how long it would take people to catch on?

Be careful with a word, as you would with a sword,
For it too has the power to kill.
However well placed word, unlike a well placed sword,
Can also have the power to heal.

Relieved as I am that I am not the only fool left gawking and saying "OMGYOURAGIRL!", it's kind of strange that there are revelations like this in every photo thread. o_O
