You're new. You wouldn't realise that this topic has been done to death and back. Everyone's really sick of it. Just so you know. The answer, of course, is that BoE is the best game by a large margin. ;) -------------------- Sex is easier than love. Posts: 1861 | Registered: Friday, February 11 2005 08:00 |

First off, i like all their games. Second, when you think they gonna finish with Avernum 4? I'd play it, when it comes out. :D -------------------- I'm a Brainstomer. o_O Posts: 11 | Registered: Friday, June 24 2005 07:00 |

First off, it's not necessary to begin every post with "first off". They will finish A4 when they finish. -------------------- Sex is easier than love. Posts: 1861 | Registered: Friday, February 11 2005 08:00 |

Is English not your first language? Thats some really confusing bad grammar there. Also, it's Geneforge, not Genoforge. -------------------- Warning: Posts may contain misspellinks and typo.s Posts: 409 | Registered: Sunday, March 31 2002 08:00 |

No biggie. Just try harder in future. I voted for all the Exile games, as they are the only ones I have played. -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Polaris Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

Hmmm... I know of a Hugnam, usually shortened to Hugna. If one and the same, let's not have a repeat of TTS, eh? If not the same, don't worry about it. As usual, I stick to Exile 2 and Nethergate. Really, for overall playability, you couldn't beat them. Not even with a really big stick. :P -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

In the order they were listed in the poll: BoE, Avernum 1,2,3, BoA, Geneforge and Nethergate. I left off Exile 1,2,3 because I haven't played them, and I left off Geneforge 2,3 because the quetion was "best games" rather than what games were enjoyed. BoA is my favourite. I tried to play the demo from Exile, but it was far too complicated. Not play-able :( -------------------- * add anything meaningful here Posts: 40 | Registered: Wednesday, June 22 2005 07:00 |

I would like to point out that as of this post, BoA and Nethergate are tied in first with nine votes. BoE lags by only a single vote. The next one, A2, has six votes. Jeff, you're not reading this, but there's a message here. —Alorael, who can actually find two. One is about product support and the other about what people like in a game. quote:Yeah, but I just brought BoA into a lead ahead of it. We MUST win. Even though I have to admit Nethergate is agood game. It's kind of a stepping stone between the Exiles and the Avernums. AnNd then they made the Geneforges. I voted for Nethergate, as usual. I don't own BoE. Once I decide to make a concerted effort to adapt myself to the interface, it will likely become my favorite. -------------------- Stughalf "Delusion arises from anger. No, that sounds like mainly certain types of people with certain types of tastes use online forums, so any poll of them is not necessesarily what the results would be of a poll of everyone playing the games. Kind of like if you want to see what kinds of political candidates americans want to vote for but only poll people you see leaving and entering a synagogue. -------------------- Warning: Posts may contain misspellinks and typo.s Posts: 409 | Registered: Sunday, March 31 2002 08:00 |

Those two sentences were somewhat separate -- he did in fact explicitly imply that a large proportion of his players were functionally illiterate, on account of being 8-year-olds with violent tendencies. :P -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun!
