I played the first one that came out, and have 3 Reign of Chaos. My brother bought them, and I was kind of into it. This one has a much better storyline.

I didn't like W3 as much as I liked W2. I'm still looking for the full version of W2, I'm so sick of doing the demo over and over.

I like WC3. I even have the expansion. Can't afford WoW, though.

I play on the Mal'ganis server as a Troll Rogue. I think the game is worth the expense tenfold, and i play 2 hours a day.

I used to play WoW, but then again I used to play Everquest.

WoW is way, way, way more linear than Everquest.

I got bored at about level 13.

Well, if it is a branch off the original Blizzard's Warcraft/II/III, I rather enjoy playing with the orcs.

I like to click on them over and over.
'That tickles'

If playing to win, though, I usually go with the humans. Mainly because I understand their spells better.

Depends on your playing style. I like rogue because if in a fight, I have many fighting styles, and i enjoy roleplaying as a rogue. If you prefer being in the middle of the fight, warrior or paladin. If you like being a big help to a group, but not the best soloer, i suggest Priest or Mage. If your a loner, Hunter or Warlock.

WoW is one of those online multiplayer RPGs that seem to be all the rage nowadays. In terms of gameplay it's probably got very little in common with the Warcraft series of strategy games. I've never played the game, and in fact wouldn't ever think of doing so.

Blizzard has produced some fine software in the past, but it's gotten extremely lazy and unproductive in recent years. Why all this multiplayer pap when everyone's still waiting and drooling over the prospect of a Starcraft II?

Because so many crazy people still play starcraft and buy it. Itz only 10 years old now. Never Winter Nights is a really good RPG. Its massively linear, but does have an excellent story along with pseudo-cut scenes.

I play a Rogue. The large amount of melee damage is just my style.

I picked Night Elves because I just liked them. My alt is a Troll, because those are my favorite from WC3. Your race affects your stats, but not by enough to make or break your game experience. Pick whatever you think fits you and your tastes.

I play several characters on several servers.
Alliance- Bloodscalp, Daggerspine
Horde- Dethecus, Sargeras, Shadow Council, Perenolde

I am currently a guild master on Bloodscalp, leading a group of over 80 members.

The monthly fee looks bad on paper, yes, but really it's almost nothing. With the six-month package, I am paying less than 25 cents a day.

Nope.

So far like my RP games to be self-contained.

When these online games change their pricing policies I may play them. Right now, I will not.

Good luck and plenty of fun times for all you guys who play them.

I played through the open beta up to level 28, and afterwards up to level 32, both with a mage. The game was fun at first, but it becomes incredibly tedious and dull. It's basically Dark Age of Camelot 2...if you enjoy games where you just mindlessly level up all day, run around doing errand-boy quests, and don't mind only being able to hunt with people within a couple level of you, this game is fine.

Also, the pvp is utterly pointless...in most cases, whoever is the higher level wins with little skill involved. And when it comes to army vs army combat, you might think it sounds cool, but when you actually get involved in that chaos, you quickly realize how stupid it is. Once you're targetted, you die almost instantly, and your individual presence really doesn't matter all too much. And if all of that wasn't annoying enough, you lose absolutely nothing upon death other than a minute of your time to run back to your corpse, giving you no insentive to try and keep your character alive. Incredibly boring game all around. Guild Wars is the way to go.
