Blades of Exile. Second would probably be Nethergate- the gameplay was flat-out horrible for much of the latter portion of the game, but the idea had promise, and it was a step in the right direction that Jeff should have expounded upon. And then came Avernum/Geneforge... Bah. -------------------- 人 た ち を 燃 え る た め に 俺 は か れ ら に 火 を 上 げ る か ら 死 ん だ Posts: 6936 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

Nethergate. :/ Then GF2 probably. The Avernums are fun, but I guess they're not really for me. -------------------- "Son--err," her father said, "I mean... BoE. Also FBM, somehow, you manage to ruin all the jokes by just excisting. -------------------- The Great Mister kommari@gmail.com Posts: 761 | Registered: Thursday, June 19 2003 07:00 |

He's a Finn. You, on the other hand, are supposedly (although evidenced only by supposition) a native speaker. Honestly, I have my doubts, but I suppose retardation knows no nationality. And let it be stated for the recordbooks that I consider the GF2 to be a huge mistake. Pokemon plus a hackneyed plot with non-choices does not a quality product make. The digimon were cute in GF1, but without that, the series is nothing. -------------------- 人 た ち を 燃 え る た め に 俺 は か れ ら に 火 を 上 げ る か ら 死 ん だ Posts: 6936 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

I am a native speaker. Emphasis on speaker. I am by no means a writer. I speak. I use the right moderation of dialect depending on the point I'm trying to put forward. Simply put, I orate, I do not write. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Actually I don't really have an accent. If I do it's an extremely slight Cosmo. And how I write has absolutely no bearing on how I speak. Though that comment is extremely ironic coming from you. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

For the moment I'm really excited about BoE. I'm making my first scenario and putting together a website which (I hope) will become very useful, but E3 is still my favorite game. -------------------- Forever Always on Past the End tracihedlund@charter.net TrueSite for Blades - Blades Walkthroughs Pixle Profusion - BoE Graphics Archive Posts: 563 | Registered: Tuesday, July 27 2004 07:00 |

BoA, BoE, the former for designing and the latter for playing. Then probably A3 and GF2 (which just shows that in the end, I'm more about gameplay than actual plot  ). -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. Right now, my favourite Spiderweb game is A2, but it will probably soon change to BoA. -------------------- Chance Forums I was once member #2475, but then my account was deleted because of a bug. Post count = 406 + whatever it says below. Posts: 402 | Registered: Thursday, May 29 2003 07:00 |

Nethergate's my favorite, easily — how can you beat Romans, inter-dimensional portals, underhanded shenanigans, snatches and counter-snatches, and a joyous jaunt through the Celtic land of the dead! My second favorite is probably the first Avernum game, mainly for the unique subterranean atmosphere created and sustained throughout the game. I'd often get claustrophobia while playing it, waiting for the massive rock ceiling to cave in on top of me, or fall through a weak point in the ground and be swept away in a freezing underground river. And Geneforge is good. Rummaging around on an island filled with ancient relics trying to uncover a dark secret while maneuvering with the various factions and learning that the Shaper way of life isn't all you were taught it was. Cracking stuff. -------------------- The A.E. van Vogt Information Site My Tribute to the Greatest Writer of the Science Fiction Golden Age Posts: 907 | Registered: Monday, July 15 2002 07:00 |

Unfortunately, I only know how to play the games in the Exile series. And among them, Exile 2 was my favorite plot, with Exile three having a great amount of story and confusion. I have yet to finish Exile 1 though or play any of the Blades of Exile scenarios besides the first one. -------------------- "Keep your wits about you, the game is afoot!!" - Sherlock Holmes Gay Christian Network The Polaris Board Posts: 935 | Registered: Friday, August 8 2003 07:00 |

BoA Editor! It's a game if you want it to be. All the Exile games for sure. Avernums are ok. Nethergate was fun but I didn't like it that much. Homeland was to wierd for me (I couldn't beat it). Ocean Bound was just way to hard. (the lions eat me) I have not played any of the other games. -------------------- With his last breath he took in more power then any Guardian could hold, then with a scream of pain and furry he unleashed it all to form a barrier betwen the Mantia and the Darkness.
