Other than that, I suggest keeping the kitten in a room with a glass door if you have one, or at least room under the door if you do not. You should probably do this anyway to make sure there are no parasites anyway, but it will also keep them apart while allowing them to get used to each other. I'm not really sure about when compulsory classes end, because I'm taking French until at least the end of high school anyway, but I know for a fact that 6th and 7th graders have to take a language course. In my school district we have a choice between French and Spanish, with Latin in high school. The majority of language students know very little of the language they take. Oh well.
