I'd say, with genuine regret, that the chance approaches 0. NG was a great, original game: it was a huge, refreshing change from the graphics, engine, and plot of his previous ones. Which is why he'll never do anything like it ever again. -------------------- In a word, gay. --Bob the Impaler Posts: 2367 | Registered: Friday, June 27 2003 07:00 |

The Nethergate engine at least feels significantly different than the Avernum engine. I much preferred Nethergate. It's the last SW game I actually liked. Posts: 999 | Registered: Friday, June 27 2003 07:00 |

I could never get into the Nethergate or Avernum engines... maybe it was the character pictures, they gave me too much of a description of what my character looked like, leaving no imagination... Or I could just be stupid -------------------- "Wow, fish." Hahahaha, I crack myself up. Posts: 1233 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

It's not as if Exile gave us a good description of our characters. Nethergate is basically a less advanced version of the Avernum engine. Any sort of BoN would be a huge waste of time. I could see a Nethergate BoA scenario maybe... -------------------- Don't ask the Oracle unless you're willing to get the slurred drunken truth. I don't think theres any chance of a N2 or BoN at all.I agree with Oracle in thinking that it might be a good idea to make a N2 BoA scenario. -------------------- Don't expect the expected expect the unexpected if you expect the expected I expect you will remain unexpected. First off -- thanks to all for replying..... and now ---- I'll go sit in a corner and wait for BOA to come out in about 8-10 months (hey! I'm on a M$ pc) -- windows --- and you know how that sucks ps. anyone noticed the new 'preview post' small window that pops up -- was once some time ago it was a whole screen page that was displayed. I don't think there will be an N2 unless Jeff runs out of other ideas... although I liked Nethergate as well. And yes, a Nethergate BoA scenario would be cool... but would there be enough graphics? Nethergate isn't Nethergate without the Romans and Celts... -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon TEH CONSPIRACY IZ ALL Les forum de la chance. You could just use the graphics in the Nethergate data file. -------------------- The Club of All Chance Forums I was once member #2475, but then my account was deleted because of a bug. Post count=406+whatever it says below. Posts: 402 | Registered: Thursday, May 29 2003 07:00 |

And anyone with an IQ of 135 or higher, plenty of graphix Exp can make their own, photoshop(or a bunch of cheap apps that together can do a nice amount of what photoshop can), a demonic cat, too much free time, a decent 3D app(not sure why it'd be needed, but could be useful) and a powerful computer. Well, guess that means no custom BoA graphix from me. Posts: 1918 | Registered: Sunday, October 13 2002 07:00 |

You know, I think you're overestimating the workload involved. Okay, a good graphic program (as in Photoshop or else ) will help a lot, but you can do it without any 3d, and usually in 1-2 hours if you've got nothing else to do. Powerful computer? For heaven's sake, it's 256 colors on a 50*60 (or less) rectangle. -------------------- "And all should cry, Beware, Beware! His Flashing eyes, his Floating hair!" S. T. *word *probably I'm sure someone will. Hopefully someone who knows what they're doing. I didn't realize you could import your own graphics. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon TEH CONSPIRACY IZ ALL Les forum de la chance.
