I am now wondering... what extent dose the Healing go to In the GF universe? ... Well... Thinking about the Reshaping limbs thing, I would... -Shape a baton like creation into my arms. (+2 Baton attacks/Missle weapon skills) -Shape my legs to be more like an animal's back legs, so I can run particularly fast. (+3-5 action points in Combat) -Shape a set of Bat like wings with a light weight carapace over them to prevent damage to them... (+45% armoring, Different choices on some Special Encounters) -Shape a Tail with a Mace and a Baton like end on it. (+1 melee attack, +1 Baton attack) You have to admit such a lifecrafter would look cool! -------------------- Put your heart into all you do, even when it seems your are diving head first to your demise, for your heart knows the right path to a true victory! quote:Yes... a Ladies thong... They do look better than from the first games, but They do need a better graphic! ah... nvm... ... Im sure at least some of you want to see this idea I just came up with: Half way though the game, the Wanderer (Shaper/Lifecrafter) gets put into a really bad situation... if he has used enough of the canisters and gets defeated in a particular special encounter He is saved by a few rebel scouts after being seriously wounded (thinking having his/her legs and one arm completely ripped off and eaten) and is taken to a Rebel fort. once there a Rebel Canister maker reforges our hero from a human into a Drakon. truly improved! Now I am going to Try and write a fanfic of this scene and make it a random post here! And While I am at it, I am going to draw a few hundred concepts for this new breed of warrior! Even though its likely never even been though up, let alone, ever be implemented! :D -------------------- Put your heart into all you do, even when it seems your are diving head first to your demise, for your heart knows the right path to a true victory! My Existence is lame today... I woke up at 10:00 and just lay in bed till 3:35. Exactly three ducks flew past my window, and I made myself a cup of tea. I would have loved a thing of pan cakes, but making the batter would make too much of a mess in my kitchen. I Played Diablo II for a few hours, realizing the game was boring. I got killed by a Zerg rush of twenty seven Steel Scarabs because of there cheap electric discharge every time you hit them, and I was using the paladin ability Zeal. I then looked up many many disturbing things on Google images, trying hard to feel some sense of sickness, hardly getting repulsed, wondering why I am looking at such crap... Eventually I came here, hoping that I could find something entertaining... I have played though just about every demo Spiderweb software has to offer Multiple times. Now I'm Just waiting for the day to pass, so I may go to work tomorrow. The Guardian Looks like a man wearing a blue tunic, and his helmet looks a little retard. The Warrior looks more as if he is wearing armor and not a oversized tunic from his Grandmother on the other side of Terrestria, and although he is wearing the same style of helmet, it is done up better, the Guardian looks like he is wearing a a ladies leather thong over his head. -------------------- Put your heart into all you do, even when it seems your are diving head first to your demise, for your heart knows the right path to a true victory! I don't know what I am... I think that Shaping is the root cause of the problems in the Geneforge universe, its a great power, but... Shaping is a powerful tool that can can be used for the greater good as well. I don't know where I stand... -------------------- Put your heart into all you do, even when it seems your are diving head first to your demise, for your heart knows the right path to a true victory! I don't think that rewrites your DNA/Your matter is safe full stop! How ever, I think it is more beneficial over using Mind altering Drugs. I mean Hey, since when did Weed Allow some on to create an army of obedient mutant monsters? hmm... Interesting, I did a little read up on Wikipedia about those two peaces of media. they both sound very good, how ever, the Eden Trilogy needs a few more sources as there is very little on the books. I found on he Loading screens were too quick for me to read the Creation information except that Battle Alpha Loin cloths were not stickily necessary, but advised to avoid shocking Townsfolk. -------------------- Put your heart into all you do, even when it seems your are diving head first to your demise, for your heart knows the right path to a true victory! I hate having to absorb any of my creations... I can accept the dead and all, but I try to keep them alive. Thats why I said about the Storage system for creations. How ever, I never really make many creations, just the one to watch my back as I usually play agents. -------------------- Colicedus is Awesomeness Combined with pwnage! I know that Geneforge is a game based in its owen universe, in a fictional world... but! I Notice a few little similarities from Some kids Anime programs... for one, you have little monsters that look like Chairmanned that breath fire, it sounds like a reference to Poke'mon. The Agents in part one, two and three look quite similar to Goku in DBz. I do know that everything is inspired by something, my epic story that I am writing for instance is inspired by allot of internet fads, Anime, and B rated horror movie classics, but... Was Geneforge inspired by Anime? -------------------- Put your heart into all you do, even when it seems your are diving head first to your demise, for your heart knows the right path to a true victory! I had a thought... Shaper Surgery? If you take one lead of the story or do something wrong (or right depending on how you look at it) at a particular part your body gets really badly damaged, your legs even get ripped off and eaten! But thanks to Illegal shaping, your able to get new limbs attached to you, and you gain some new powers! Your armor also increases, and... maybe you get a chainsaw? ... What about playing as Multiple shapers at one time, each with there owen inventories, some what similar to Avernum? Particularly in G3 i think Al and Greta should have had some sort of inventory system. -------------------- Put your heart into all you do, even when it seems your are diving head first to your demise, for your heart knows the right path to a true victory!
