G1 is great because there's nothing bad about canister mania. So yeah, my current characters are canister FIENDS (G1 and G4) even though I generally play totally loyalist, and only take drayk canisters. :rolleyes: -------------------- "We were meant to live for so much more. Canisters are of course one of the best things in Geneforge, because no RPGer can resist an instant stat boost or new ability. The swirly green look and that sound effect become Pavlovian after a while. What's great is that this mimics nicely the addictive effect that the canisters are supposed to be having on your character. It's a cool gimmick. -------------------- We're not doing cool. I managed when playing the G3 again to play as shaper.I tried to not use canisters but couldent resist using 2 of them to learn to create gazer and dracon.Strange nobody noticed nor my skin glow. Is it becouse I used only 2 canisters not a pile of them why nobody notices it and my skin doesen't glow? -------------------- If you listen to LakiRA@ all will go well! I don't think that rewrites your DNA/Your matter is safe full stop! How ever, I think it is more beneficial over using Mind altering Drugs. You can use about 6 canisters before anything bad happens, which is nice to know if you're a loyalist but you want something you can't get from a trainer. Schrodinger's walkthrough says there is one in Maker’s End on Gull Island and another in Benerii-Eo Vat Core on the Isle of Spears. It also looks like Khyryk can train you in it as well. After you kill the gazer jailer of Agatha and co., you will find rooms with a rothghroth canister and battle roar canister. And (I think) some more rogues. If you want to ever cast battle roar, use that canister because it's the only spell you can't get from a trainer. -------------------- "We were meant to live for so much more. Canisters are so much better than training that always when I see a canister I regreat playing as loyalist. When I use a canister I gain a feel of power and when I get training I don't feel like my power is increast.So its more pyshological thing to me not abou actual power. -------------------- If you listen to LakiRa@ all will go well! You sound like you are really ma...changed by canisters.
