I don't quite understand. Is there anyway you could post a screenshot of this? Anyway, since you got Morog's Dragon Scroll, there's no need to find the Melora Opal located in the empire fort. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. EDIT: The server disconnected right after I hit the add reply button. Thinking it hadn't gone through, I did it again. Surprise surprise, it went through both times. And then the rats will come and annihilate us all. But yes, we'll get the limelight for a few minutes. Agadia Isle's theme would probably be "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve. Parts of it symbolize the conflicts of interest between Agadia and the Empire, and also defines a small note of irony in the scenario. -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! quote:Depends. Who do you consider 'interesting'? Nikki does something rather 'interesting' though, as does Tullegolar. And I do something that I'll probably regret later. Which brings me to a minor irritation with this chapter. I always refer to Tullegolar as Tullegolar, not Tully or Lego or Ego. Also, I'm a fairly competent scripter myself. That said, I think Nikki is going to get a shock if he goes through with his plan. The Misc. Forum isn't exactly empty... -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. The ability to purchase skills in the shopping area would be nice. If you have a lot of extra gold, you can make an investment in your skills, rather than lugging around a massive purse. Also, how about a God Necklace? EDIT: And a potion of Incredible Restoration, which grants +10000 HP and SP, and cures all illness. You can get into two of the rooms. The first one has a damaged protective rune, which you can just walk over. The second one can be accessed by finding a secret door in the south wall of Khoth's main chambers. The big library, though is completely off-limits. Unless you like roasted party members. -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! Please rate these scenarios at the CSR after playing them! I don't play BoE that often, but I'll answer this survey to the best of my ability. How many PC's do you play with? Six. How many scenarios have you played? One. Absolute favorite BoE scenario? VoDT. When did you get the registered version of BoE for the first time? Um... Never? What is the first third-party scenario you played? None. Favorite all-around scenario designer? Kelandon Out of your own scenarios, which do you feel is your best? Don't have one. What is your favorite scenario icon? The one for ASR. If you could make one BoE scenario into a movie, which scenario would it be? I don't know... What is your favorite spell? Fireball. What is your favorite item of all time? (It doesn't matter how many scenarios have the item in it. Can be one, can be all.) Trusty healing potions. Have you ever named a place or character in a scenario after someone you know in real life? No. What do you think is the absolute most overrated BoE scenario of all time? I don't know. What do you think is the absolute most underrated BoE scenario of all time? Again, I on't know. If you could fix one bug in BoE or the scenario editor, what would it be? Yet again, I don't know. If you could add one new feature to BoE or the scenario editor, what would it be? *coughs* What is your least favorite scenario out of those rated 7.0 or higher on CSR? Um... Which scenario do you think is the worst ever? There's lots of horribles, but only one can be the absolute worst. Sadly, I don't know. Write down the release dates of all of your scenarios. If you can't remember all of them, do the ones that you can. None. What is your favorite TM scenario? N/A What is your favorite Creator scenario? N/A What is your favorite scenario in the Spheres trilogy? N/A What is your favorite scenario in the Adventurer's Club trilogy? N/A What do you think is the absolute coolest innovation in a BoE scenario yet? N/A What is your favorite BoE fansite? The Blazing Blade. What do you think would happen if Alcritas returned to the Lyceum as an active member once more? I honestly don't have a clue. What scenario do you think should have won the first design contest? N/A Name one random scenario that has not been mentioned by anyone in this thread (first that comes in your head.) Nephil's Gambit. If TM returned, and he and Kel continued to argue, do you think that should continue, or do you think they just have to duke it out? They should just continue. It's become something of a traditional past time. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed. quote:What treachery? I have no plans of betrayal, nor do I intend to bear false witness. All I did was debate your points. Assumptions... Ah, what a dangerous thing... EDIT: For the record, I have no intentions of overthrowing the current management, for both logical and practical reasons. First, while the boards do have some flaws, they're good enough as they are. Second, it would only do more damage than good in the long run. Third, how many people would remain if it was overthrown. The only ones I can see that would stay would be me, Tullegolar, -X-, Slartucker, and Arancaytar. And the last two would only be there because, when the rebellion is in full swing, that enraged fluffy turtle would probably slip back into the boards, and chase the two of them around, desirous for vengeance. There's been a bit of confusion about question 5, so allow me to clarify. In each of the Avernum installments, the spell roster has been slightly different. Certain spells were heavily modified or replaced with new spells. Examples of this are Bind Foe (replaced in A3 with Spray Acid), Safe Travel (replaced in BoA with Enduring Barrier), Capture Soul (changed in BoA to Capture Mind), Simulacrum (function was heavily changed in BoA), and probably a few more that I'm missing. Hopefully that clears things up. -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! Please rate these scenarios at the CSR after playing them! 1) Which is your favorite Avernum game? BoA. 2) What is your favorite melee weapon class? Melee (Daggers/Swords) 3) What is your favorite missile weapon class? Bows 4) What is your favorite spell in Avernum? Arcane Shield, though A4's Smite is a close runner-up. 5) What spell did you like in an earlier Avernum game, but was removed in a later sequel? Bind Foe. 6) What is your favorite dagger/sword? Icy Longsword, or the one-handed Demonslayer in A4. 7) What is your favorite spear/pike/halberd? Lance of Justice. 8) What is your favorite bow/crossbow? Fury Crossbow. 9) What is your favorite thrown missile? Sling, or the A4 Fine Razordisks. 10) Which enemy type do you hate the most? Gazers, especially the earlier ones that could sap Spell energy. 11) If you could stand-in for any character in the game aside from the party, which character would you choose? Cheeseball. Don't ask why. 12) If you could stop or change one event in Avernum, what would it be? The destruction of Cotra. 13) Who is your favorite character, aside from the party? That Empire Archer that was slimed down in the Slime Pits near Krizan. The guy was a loon, and yet was hilarious. 14) Which Black Shade did you like the most? (A4) The Black Shade of Ice. The other two seemed somewhat disappointing. 15) If you could destroy one being in Avernum, who/what would it be? Emperor Hawthorne. 16) Who is your favorite dragon? Athron or Sulfras, I can't decide. 17) What type of armor do you prefer? (Leather, chain mail, etc.) Plate mail. Particularly the Emerald Chestguard. 18) Aside from adventuring, which profession would you take in Avernum? Priest. 19) Do you prefer to fight enemies, or would you rather flee? Fight. 20) What reasons do you have for becoming adventurers? Saving the world, and getting rich while doing it. 21) Who is your favorite mage/priest outside of your party? Erika. 22) Who is your favorite villain? The leader of the Darkside Loyalists. (Can't remember his name.) 23) If you had the chance to have a cameo of yourself inserted in any of the Avernum series, would you take it? Probably. 24) Who was the most annoying non-party character in the Avernum series? The GIFTS. 25) What is your favorite city in Avernum or the Empire? Lorelei. 26) If you had just one character in your party, what skills would he/she be trained in? Magic and Archery. 27) What's your favorite Xian Item? The Xian Pouch. 28) If you could travel to any of the continents on the surface, which one would you choose? Vatanas. 29) Which skill do you think is the MOST valuable in the entire Avernum series? Defense for A1 through 3 and BoA, Parry for A4. 30) Which skill do you think is the LEAST valuable in the entire Avernum series? Hardiness. 31) What is your favorite Avernum cuisine? Lizard meat. Mmm, mmm, disgusting! 32) If there was one thing you could add to the Avernum series, what would it be? The ability to forge items, like in Geneforge. 33) What's your favorite special item? The Vahnatai Statue in A3. The description when you first get it is priceless. 34) Do you have your characters wear pants? Yes, and at all times. When I needed to place pants on the one rune, I literally went back to town just to find an extra pair of pants. 35) If Avernum had lost the Avernum/Empire War, what do you think would've happened? The Empire would have left Avernum abandoned, after killing it's inhabitants. -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! Please rate these scenarios at the CSR after playing them!
