I read somewhere that Beethoven was a looney tune. Went deaf with age, and thought whenever someone was talking that they were talking about him. -------------------- We as a race have grown complacent with our computers and thinking machines. Just altered my sig. Whoops. I took a lot of needling for my previous moniker, so I picked a new one. WtC is still associated with my old PDN, obviously. EDIT: Ouch. You sure know how to hurt a guy, Goldie. I can wholeheartedly recommend 1,3, and 4. Fascinating. And wonderfully written. The mystery certainly led us off with a strong start. I'm back, finally. And just in time, too. Military food is the closest thing to hell on this earth, and three weeks of it is horrific beyond words. Shoot. Not gonna have time to update the darn thing, I leave in about ten minutes. Diki, Windows has little to nothing to do with script files. The .txt extension means that it is just a plain text file, which doesn't really belong to any one platform(programmers have been using .txt for decades). -------------------- You Shall Die Laughing: http://www.worfthecat.ermarian.net/converted The Roost: www.roost01.proboards104.com. I used Fetch, as suggested by Aran. I'll try again, this time I'll just copy and paste the whole bleedin' thing onto my site. Sarasaphilia is me. I am male, for starters. Now, unless you have been tinkering with other script files, or have installed another person's editor, mine should work. I've tested it throughly. I even managed to insert some features which are not items or abilities. Try to create a cryodrayk, ur-glaahk, or ur-drakon. If the resulting creature is NOT a cryodrayk, ur-glaahk, or ur-drakon, the editor works. You may want to undo what you did earlier, by Dikiyoba's intructions-it may have no effect, but it may be what's screwing you up. Koran, apologies for my late arrival. I noticed that you stated that you would want any child of yours to be able to install a cracked/stolen piece of software. Therefore, since you would need the software to begin with, you would be teaching your children how to steal. If you are in college, and hungry, would you steal food? YOu are stealing someone's work, time, and energy every time you download a crack. Secondly, what extra software do you "need" for college? I plotted out my expenses and will be fine with a copy of either Appleworks 6 or Word '05. AW is free, and Word is dirt cheap. Thirdly, what thoughts would float through your head if the RCMP/FBI showed up at your doorstep, accusing someone in your household of computer piracy? -------------------- You Shall Die Laughing: http://www.worfthecat.ermarian.net/converted The Roost: www.roost01.proboards104.com. I agree with Muffy's motive, but not the method. Dolphin's right, it should have been common sense. I do, however, congratulate Muffy on his remarkable resolve; most people I know would have simply used the link instead of making an attempt to report it. -------------------- You Shall Die Laughing: http://www.worfthecat.ermarian.net/converted The Roost: www.roost01.proboards104.com. I would also love to see a Day After Tomorrow variety of game. Set into the not-so-distant future, some cataclysmic incident threatens the planet, blah blah blah... Not an original storyline, but if you add a little detail it could be neat. -------------------- You Shall Die Laughing: http://www.worfthecat.ermarian.net/converted The Roost: www.roost01.proboards104.com. Jeff is original. I have confindence in that. He is completely welcome to use any and all of my ideas that I post here if he so wishes, though. I'm curious about G5. The climax of the series, it should be grand. I'd like to be able to buy a house, like in A3. As for Avernum, I've only recently started playing, even though I've had the full version for a while. I don't know enough to have an opinion. A new series would be cool. Perhaps another medieval/fantasy/scifi series like Geneforge would work. Choice is up to his Majesty, Mr. Vogel, of course. -------------------- You Shall Die Laughing: http://www.worfthecat.ermarian.net/converted The Roost: www.roost01.proboards104.com.
