If Geneforge(in general) was an mmorpg thatd be pretty insane. Id probly love the hell out of it more than I already do and fork over a good sized chunk of my paychecks lol. Even this simple idea of customizing a lair is enough to snag me and make me wanna buy the game. I personally love to defend as much as i enjoy going out and killing things. I kinda expect alot out of Geneforge 5...for some reason I get the feeling the title will be something funny like "Geneforge 5: The End" lol...i'd probly fall to the floor and cry until my tears turn to blood if the Geneforge series stopped at 5. I hope that they step some boundries and go all the way with the Geneforge series and give it there all to make us more of these great games :D -------------------- ~Rob Savage~ Posts: 15 | Registered: Wednesday, April 12 2006 07:00 |

I don't really have any suggestions for the game, but I do have a comment about it. I'm more than confident in your ability to produce another amazing piece to the Geneforge Series. I base this confidence on the extremely enjoyable storylines, the environments, the characters, and action within the games thusfar...not to mention the continuous playability of the games in general. I just wish you(Jeff Vogel)the best of luck and hope you enjoy making them as much as I, and plenty of other people, enjoy playing them. P.S. Congratulations on completing the first 5 areas. -------------------- ~Rob Savage~ Posts: 15 | Registered: Wednesday, April 12 2006 07:00 |

I had meant for the "romance" kinda thing to be part of the plot of the rebellion. Kinda like protecting your people, beliefs, and the ones you love. It could go hand in hand with the plot if written correctly, but it was just a suggestion to throw out there to attract a wider variety of people to the game by adding more things that you can wonder about explore into within the world of Geneforge. If you can be a serville, and they often spoke of being "bonded" then it would make sense for servilles, rebels, and Shapers to all have something such as that in common with one another. Mostly I suggested this to attract all sorts of people to the game and to peak some interests of others. But like I said...it's only a suggestion. [ Monday, April 24, 2006 16:43: Message edited by: robsavage ] -------------------- ~Rob Savage~ Posts: 15 | Registered: Wednesday, April 12 2006 07:00 |

Sounds like a sort of Warcraft theme, but then again a Geneforge made in that way would be outrageously fun. Allowing many quests and challenges of being the head shaper in a town fighting a war and pushing the enemy back farther and farther...but then again that doesnt seem like Geneforge to me :( I'd definitely play and enjoy it, but it wouldn't be right to me...just not the same as the great Geneforge series thusfar :D -------------------- ~Rob Savage~ Posts: 15 | Registered: Wednesday, April 12 2006 07:00 |

Might even be good to throw a love story into the war scene of Geneforge 4. Since people think differently of you with every action you do then why can't you get people to love you? You can make 2 different characters to suit both Male and Female characters as a "mate" within the game to add another twist to the story line, and even have a few areas where you have to guide and protect her/him. You can choose what sex you would like to be from the begginning and this would open up a slightly different storyline involving the right connection between woman and man. Might even open up the Geneforge series to a whole new level of gameplay allowing for multiple options and ways to please, or even offend, those NPC's(Non Player Characters) within the world of Geneforge. Just an idea... :D -------------------- ~Rob Savage~ Posts: 15 | Registered: Wednesday, April 12 2006 07:00 |

I really don't care whos idea it was originally, but he did draw the little picture things :D hahaha... quote:And as for that, I meant for each Character type. Such as a variety of endings for the Shaper, Guardian, and Agent...also if they have "rebels" that individual character should get its own set of endings. -------------------- ~Rob Savage~ Posts: 15 | Registered: Wednesday, April 12 2006 07:00 |

I'm personally just flat out confused on how we got switched off the topic of Geneforge 4 to something about some guys punctuation and grammar... Also about the storyline for Geneforge 4, I feel it'd be really cool to have multiple endings for each character and for their actions(at least 3 each. As for the idea about "stealth"...I think there should be a range to your sight that can be improved by leveling up or even making it a skill to put points into. p.s. I think Nick Ringer has a great idea with introducing Creations that have the ability to Fly(maybe using just ranged attacks). That's all i've really got to say. :P -------------------- ~Rob Savage~ Posts: 15 | Registered: Wednesday, April 12 2006 07:00 |

I only cared for options B and D, but all the others just sounded like disdain for the Guardian character and complaints about the game in general. If you can't raise it right then just play another character. -------------------- ~Rob Savage~ Posts: 15 | Registered: Wednesday, April 12 2006 07:00 |

I'd reccommend leveling up before you put any points to anything seeing as your very very close to leveling. Then I would raise my stats to the following... Dexterity - 7 Strength - 7 Melee Weapons - 10 Quick Action - 10 Parry - 10 Leadership - 10 Spellcraft - 1(if you have any points left after all this put another to spellcraft if possible. Or if desired add the leftovers to Strength or Dexterity) Personally I'd ignore most the things the others have said, but thats just me. The overall decision is yours, and I wish you the best in it all and in the game. :) [ Wednesday, April 19, 2006 02:26: Message edited by: robsavage ] -------------------- ~Rob Savage~ Posts: 15 | Registered: Wednesday, April 12 2006 07:00 |

Well, if your so into using the "exitzone" cheat then why haven't you tried the "clearthisarea" cheat? Think about it for a bit :D -------------------- ~Rob Savage~ Posts: 15 | Registered: Wednesday, April 12 2006 07:00 |
