Here's where it's really at, gents and ladies:

Wizardry. Preferably, Wizardry IV.
Gauntlet. Elf needs food. Badly.
Q*bert. I see Brad Pitt as the lead.
Dig dug. Tom Cruise.
Oregon Trail. Drama incarnate.

So, to summarize: You came onto the Spiderweb software boards to look for people who don't play games so as to advise these hypothetical people on changing operating systems? Rule #1 in public speaking (or speech acts): Know your audience.

Oh, and a lot of us are Mac people anyways, of course.

I will likely become nocturnal, gain several pounds, and reek because I don't plan on showering or changing my clothes either. Hey, it's a tradition.
Um, date much, ET?

There was a girl (woman?) in my college freshman dorm who was 22 and could fit in a dryer. She'd been in the circus since highschool before starting college. Strangely enough, this was Harvard. I never quite got to know her (although I did witness the dryer trick a couple times), which will probably be one of my life's great regrets. On multiple levels.

I'd be interested in the reverse challenge: People post utterly bizarre "translations" and perhaps a hint of the original statement's origin, and challenge others to decode...

I sat there originally for almost 10 minutes, and was so incapable of seeing anything other than the clockwise rotation that I was beginning to suspect hoax or conspiracy. Returning a day later, and significantly sleep-deprived due to crunching numbers for an upcoming presentation at a major medical conference, I can flip my perceived direction at whim. I wonder how fatigue figures into this (nonsense of) left-brain / right-brain thing?

Personally, I find that objects' unmovality does not achive game quality improvement. But this kind of things could be a matter of opinion...

But there's no reason to be surly about it!

Once I snuck my way into town (see the above post re: Fort Samuels), I too was paralyzed by fear of the town Shade. Which gave me a glimmer of understanding for what the Almarians were going through! But if you stick to the northern walls, you can slide your way around the Shade, find another set of stairs down, and follow them to freedom beyond the town walls.
