Windows NT is not meant for games, and even Microsoft has warned that games don't work on it well. Use Win95/98/ME/XP instead. And dxdiag doesn't exist in the ancient directx versions. Exile before anyone was sent there? Dark, cold and uninhabitable place. Very unfriendly too. And dark. You have to kill to eat, and everything edible has claws. So I would say this place is quite hostile for an RP scene. There is no one down there. Except for critters who wan't to eat you.
