That was much harder to find then I would have expected. For anyone who is wondering, type: Shift D sdf 101 27 2 And she'll have essence orbs. Was this supposed to be removed or something? It's very powerful. Posts: 11 | Registered: Monday, December 12 2005 08:00 |

I'm playing a rebel loyalist, so I entered Khyryk's room with the intent of killing him. I talked to him and he said he could train Greta's skills for 3000 gold. I had the gold and payed him, but it wouldn't upgrade her skills for me. I got frustrated and killed him, but wish Greta could have gotten her second skill upgrade. Is there a way around this? Thanks. Posts: 11 | Registered: Monday, December 12 2005 08:00 |

Command+Q enterenterenter seems to quit and save pretty quickly last time I checked, couldn't imagine it quitting and saving much faster. Posts: 11 | Registered: Monday, December 12 2005 08:00 |

I'm looking for a giant slime in the tunnels of Silvar. Any advice on finding it? I've gone in circles for quite a while killing lesser slimes but can't figure out how to find the real one. Any advice? Posts: 11 | Registered: Monday, December 12 2005 08:00 |

I don't belive anything before OSX will support A4, and I don't think there are any emulators out there capable of running OSX at any resonable speed so I think you're out of luck. An old G3 probably won't have OSX on it either, and that's a good $50+ investment I believe. So the real question is how much is A4 worth to you? I must admit, I had my doubts. The screenshots looked weird and messy and I certainly didn't want to have another Geneforge instead of Avernum. But these fears were ungrounded. Avernum IV is loads of fun. It takes all of the annoyances out of the Avernum and Geneforge series and fuses them together in an awesome way. Here are the highlights for me: 1) First Aid is actually useful. 2) Area of effect spells a la Exile are back. 3) Blessing/hasting/shielding isn't enough to win battles. 4) Unlimited arrows. 5) Death is much easier to deal with, causing me to fight battles out till the bitter end instead of loading my saved game. 6) It looks nice, and runs smoother than the old games. Nice work Jeff. I've been a Spiderweb fan since Exile: Escape From The Pit (I was seven at the time, and absoultely terrible, but I had fun playing it anyway) and this may be the finest creation yet. Bravo. Posts: 11 | Registered: Monday, December 12 2005 08:00 |
