Which factions do you think are the most powerful, or can give the Player most advantages? Please explain your views :D Alas, I myself would list them like this: 1-2. Zhass-Uss, the Takers, Rising, the Barzites 3. Medab, the Awakened 4. Drypeak, the Loyalists This is mainly based on the power they can give - in terms of both pre- and post-altering spells&creations and canisters. [ Monday, June 06, 2005 07:56: Message edited by: ShadeOfWar ] This poll has been moved to another forum. -------------------- In D&D there are lots of gods. Some of them are Jesus Christ and Lucifer, and they have equal power. Players can choose either to worship one of them, and as most of them find it funny, they choose to worship Lucifer. It is one of the ways how pure souls are taken by the devil... Posts: 29 | Registered: Thursday, March 31 2005 08:00 |

Well, I haven't finished any of the series yet, but what I can tell is that Agent seems to be a lot weaker than a Shaper in G2. Alas, I took Magic Shaping wiv Agent, and it seems to me Fire Shaping is better... more powerful all the way along. I mean... alright, my spells might be very effective, but when u consider that the Shaper can be good at magic too, and their Shaping (a much more expensive skill all in all) is cheap, then almost same level (about 25) Shaper is much more better with 4 Drayks and an adopted Huge Roamer(ok, ok, thats a pointless dude). And Agent spells aren't so much better at all. -------------------- In D&D there are lots of gods. Some of them are Jesus Christ and Lucifer, and they have equal power. The second time now I see u asking for BoA walkthrough here at the forums :D Anyway, go to the Libraries floor. Search it - there is a passage there that will lead to a cave. There you will find the Vahnatai, who have the Opening Stone and will give it to you, I think. Also, after u have spoken to them, there is a quest you can and must do for the friendly spiders. -------------------- In D&D there are lots of gods. quote:I say BoA is best, i have BoE, and I am not an idiot, or at least I prefer to think I am not. I despise flaming like that more than anything else... honestly, don't try to force your personal views on others. It'll only make them loathe you, right...? Unless, of course, they think the same. The lack of scenarios is an unavoidable problem, but will get better over time... And I prefer the BoA gameplay system. When playing BoE I was rather annoyed by the sheer uselessness of melee combat against foes, excluding, of course, those who had magic immunity. At level... what was it, 26? My best melee fighter's most potent hit against a SLEEPING enemy was... 36. Mages were overpowered, and I'm not going to argue over that. The scenario editor is also much more flexible... more complicated to use though. -------------------- For the wind cries of late In the whispering grass Our way of life is held In the spinning wheels of chance For the wind cries of late In the whispering leaves Tell me more about the forest You once called home Posts: 29 | Registered: Thursday, March 31 2005 08:00 |

quote:Hmph. I fail to consider that a major problem, since I don't find the prospect of trying to play GF fast and furious very apalling. It is, of course, a bit interesting to see how much 'time' it took ("The Hero Struggled Through The Desolate Wastes for 1 week 12 days 1 hour 2 minutes 39 seconds 221 milliseconds") but not something I'd call da BIG problem. P.S. I'm relatively sure Avernum, or at least Blades of Avernum, does count days. -------------------- In D&D there are lots of gods. quote::confused: I can see that you're bored if you make this pointless poll, only including a few authors and getting a 75% score of "other" votes. I do not approve of Terror's Martyr telling people what authors they are to like and flaming them for appreciating authors TM doesn't (It's a free world, now isn't it? ), but I have to mention your choice of authors, Spring, was a relatively absurd one. Not that you could possibly make a decent "What author do you like" poll, because there is no way in hell you could include all the authors people would like to vote for. In fact I have a suggestion for you. You'd better start a poll "What genre of literature do you like". At least you could include all probable votes. (You know - SF, fantasy, theology, et cetera). -------------------- For the wind cries of late In the whispering grass Our way of life is held In the spinning wheels of chance For the wind cries of late In the whispering leaves Tell me more about the forest You once called home Posts: 29 | Registered: Thursday, March 31 2005 08:00 |

Well, I find thrown missiles with effects a good idea. I only use them as a alternative for my melee attacker, if he's not able to reach a target in melee. So I use it relatively scarcely, and there's no way thrown missiles could be an alternative to bows (Adlerauge :( ). So, I find it a rather good idea. -------------------- In D&D there are lots of gods. Some of them are Jesus Christ and Lucifer, and they have equal power. Either replay it, use the character editor to Reset Town (thus resurrecting the spiders), or use the character editor to give yourself the stone. I guess its easiest to Reset the Town. -------------------- In D&D there are lots of gods. Some of them are Jesus Christ and Lucifer, and they have equal power. Cmon...! Seriously, you ask for help but did you even listen to what the people here said? Besides the things you asked about are rather easy(they were much harder in BoE :) ) Anyway, dont kill the spiders...! Talk to vahnatai. Then talk to spider chief. Then do his quest. And you will eventually get the opening stone. -------------------- In D&D there are lots of gods. Some of them are Jesus Christ and Lucifer, and they have equal power. I'd say it's rather difficult to subscribe to either point of view, that is to support euthanasia or keeping her alive in the state she is... I dont' really have an opinion, but I am rather dissapointed this has become another political affair... I find it ridiculous that state officials single-handedly dismiss judicial decisions. But how can you judge if a person should live or die...? Even if she's not truly alive, she's certainly not dead either... Well, at least I can find relief in the fact that my opinion cannot possibly change anything. -------------------- For the wind cries of late In the whispering grass Our way of life is held In the spinning wheels of chance For the wind cries of late In the whispering leaves Tell me more about the forest You once called home Posts: 29 | Registered: Thursday, March 31 2005 08:00 |
