You weren't supposed to kill the spiders; they're friendly. Now you'll have to either use the character editor to reset hostile towns or give yourself the opening stone. Cmon...! Seriously, you ask for help but did you even listen to what the people here said? Besides the things you asked about are rather easy(they were much harder in BoE :) ) Anyway, dont kill the spiders...! Talk to vahnatai. Then talk to spider chief. Then do his quest. Either replay it, use the character editor to Reset Town (thus resurrecting the spiders), or use the character editor to give yourself the stone. You can either wait until you get the spell Return Life (that still exists in BoA, right?) or you can use the character editor to bring that person back to life.
