Try the demos of both BoE and Nethergate before choosing. Nethergate has slightly the same interface as the 3 Avernums, but a different dialog system. BoE is 2D, and I hav tryed to get addicted to it several times, each time failing out of being totally incapable of dealing with the interface.

Challenge- soup and lizard meat in Geneforge Series

I have come up with a new challenge. Rules:

-You may only create lizard creations (i.e. fyora, cryoa, drayk, cryodrayk, drakon, ur-drakon)

-Must use lots of potions.

-No Mental, Blessing or Healing magic apart from Heal and Major Heal.

-No item enhancements.

-Only melee weapons.

-No artifacts before level 40

To ghaldrings_doom: you could find someone to train you in Create Drakon, and then use the canisters to get an Ur-Drakon.

I have noticed that GF1 had a green interface, GF2 a blue one and GF3 a red one. Did these colors at all change your likingness of the games? And what do you think GF4's interface will be like?
