Who loves this game? I do. Awesome game. Also, from the same company (Psygnosis), Puggsy. Other awesome Genesis games include Bubsy II (I've never played the original) and Boogerman. Syndicate (not to be confused with syndicate wars which was lame) is probably my favourite game of all time for any gaming machine. Also I used to own bubsy back in the day. It was quite fun although I never really played it all that much. Other brilliant genesis (or Mega Drive as it was called here) games I have/used to own are - Road Rash II/III Themepark Comix Zone Jurrasic Park 2 - The Lost World Shadow Run Double Dragon Pirates Gold Punisher Pirates of Dark Water Golden Axe Toe Jam and Earl And there was also this game that I played as a kid where there was a casino in a well that you could go into and gamble on chickens and stuff. I've allways wanted to know the name of it so I can see if I can obtain it. I wouldn't know how good Chrono Trigger is because SNES is quite a rare thing where I live..I've only ever seen one and my friend bought it in Korea. But before he moved he bought Chrono Trigger and was allways going on about how great it was. What do you guys thinks better, SNES or Genesis? I haven't played much Sega, but from what I have seen, I like SNES better. Now-a-days, you can find SNES (and Sega) emulators on the internet to play their games on your computer if you can't get an SNES where you live. -------------------- I often quote myself. Ah, the Sega Genesis (or, as it's called over here, the Mega Drive). Those were the days. I remember playing Phantasy Star II for hours and never getting past the second dungeon. (I eventually finished the damn thing with the aid of an emulator; the savegame battery had long since died.) RPG-wise, the Phantasy Star series was probably the best thing Sega had going for it, but it was sure good enough for me. -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! Of course, Golden Axe and TJ&E! How could I forget them? Sonic too, I guess, but I never really liked that series as much. I was just playing TJ&E2: Panic On Funkatron, which is a completely different engine. It's a platformer, and it has dialogue and characters and stuff. It's a fun game. The first and second are good. I hear the new 3-D one sucks though. My Genesis collection (*=finished): *(Beginner) Rocket Knight Adventures *(Fun and the next highest difficulty) Lemmings Art Alive! *Cool Spot *Bubsy II King Salmon: The Big Catch The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends Tazmania Taz in: Escape From Mars *Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (missing) *Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (missing) *Sonic & Knuckles (missing) *Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine AAAAAH! Real Monsters DeCapp Attack (sp?) *Puggsy *Wiz'n'Liz SubTerrania Flashback (bought it with no manual, really hard because I barely understand how to play it and other reasons too) *Joe & Mac (I like the SNES version better) Midnight Resistance *Pacman 2: The New Adventures *Ren & Stimpy in: Stimpy's Invention TINHEAD Earthworm Jim *Earthworm Jim 2 Monopoly Vectorman 2 (I've played and completed the first, don't own it) Ecco the Dolphin: The Tides of Time (I've played the first, haven't won either) *Toejam & Earl *Toejam & Earl in: Panic on Funkatron *Animaniacs! I've also played and completed Shining Force 1+2 (and the translated portion of SF3, but that's for SEGA Saturn), which are among my favorite games ever. The plots are cliched, but the battles are excellent. i guess Chrono Trigger for SNES ruled, and still rules it all. i prefer the SNES, mostly because it has much better RPGs than Genesis, like Final Fantasy and Zelda. Ohh, I really liked Super Mario RPG, too, that was really good. So was Zelda, too. But I still think Chrono Trigger is easily the best. If you don't think so, you either haven't played it, or didn't underestand it's complicated plot. And I do mean complicated, you can find tons of info about the plot on webpages even now, years after the game was made! And evidantly, years after people have known what an SNES actually is! :eek: Sonic was pretty cool on Sega, too, but it was cool like Super Mario, not cool like Chrono Trigger or Zelda. I am not alone is saying that I want to kill that cursed dog from Duck Hunter. There's an online version of the game that lets you kill the dog, but it's stupid. Many copies of the dog fly by the screen and you kill them with a machine gun while words like "KILL KILL KILL" and "VIOLENCE" appear on screen. That's not what I want. I want to be able to pop the dog's head when he laughs at me after I miss the ducks. Other SEGA games I like: Beyond Oasis and Kid Chameleon. But sereously does anyone know the name of that game where theres a casino down the well and you bet on chickens racing and stuff. I remember that game being fun (but then again I was like 10) so I want to download and play it again because I'll never find it to buy it. Also Lost Vikings is a brillant genesis game.
