God, I will SO miss Bandit Busywork. I loved that scenario. It was small, I managed to solve quite a lot of it without cheating - no mean feat for me. I also loved that secret underground chamber that you could only access if you opened it up the editor and got rid of a couple of blocks of wall. Inside the secret chamber was a sign: "How did you get in here?!" (or something). I *so* loved that scenario. -------------------- Behind, the sea of time and space roars and follows swiftly Posts: 280 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

If you turn off Special Effects, you lose the Day/Night cycle. I don't know if you could force this with a script though. -------------------- Behind, the sea of time and space roars and follows swiftly Posts: 280 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

I am torn. On one hand, an all-new scenario is very exciting. On the other, does this mean that Bandit Busywork is dead and buried? And will never see the light of BoA? I had anticipated it being the fourth scenario. :( and ;) -------------------- Behind, the sea of time and space roars and follows swiftly Posts: 280 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

Tiny Alien Beasts? I only remember Alien Beasts from the original BoE VoDT, and that they were nearly impossible to kill, and there were masses of them. -------------------- Behind, the sea of time and space roars and follows swiftly Posts: 280 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

I loved Nethergate, but what I really resented was the fact that you couldn't return to most areas once you'd left them, making it more linear than it needed to be, and more restricted. Eg: my characters couldn't carry all the weapons and loot they wanted to in one go, but there wasn't a second chance to go back in and get a another load once I'd cleared out the dungeon. The two-games-in-one was very very clever though. But BoA will be infinity-games-in-one, sort of ;) -------------------- Behind, the sea of time and space roars and follows swiftly Posts: 280 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

http://housecall.trendmicro.com Free online virus scan - excellent service. It finds things that even Norton Antivirus (the paid, registered version) does not. Sometime the servers are busier and it won't run, but keep trying. It also cleans off the viruses and trojans when it can. -------------------- Behind, the sea of time and space roars and follows swiftly Posts: 280 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |
