(About my BoE scenarios, SPOILERS! The full titles are in my signature.) FER: I'd make the whole plot less laughable, I'd explain how/why King Micah became a super-powered warrior, and I'd add much more depth and dialogue. Most importantly, you WOULD NOT cross the lake by holding onto Sliths' tails. ND: I wouldn't release it. :P Seriously, I felt the main problem here was I tried to make an 'upgrade' of FER. I felt I tried to use some of the same parts, and do them right this time. While I mostly succeded in this regard, I didn't make the plot better, and I really should have done things totally new here. I also would balance treasure a little better. tFS: I would make all the characters human, no Nephils, Sliths, or Vahnatai. I'd probably write dialogue more efficently, get all the bugs out on the first round, and make the battle with Eltus harder. (I was also thinking that if I made the characters human, I could add a love story, but it would have to fit in with the rest of the plot, and it would have to 'work', too. ;) ) Unlike my previous scenarios, I will say this is a good scenario. In fact, I'm feeling confident of it doing well in this upcoming contest. Thanks for posting the topic. Located at my realm, in the assorted oddities section! You may ask, "Yeah...the point?" Well, uh, there's stuff made by others that are already online that you could ask this question for. No one's forcing you to look if it doesn't interest you. :P Anyway, the front page of the history explains it all. This is a history calendar for the community from Janurary 2004 to present. I plan to update it once a month, but I don't plan to post monthly announcements stating an update. I also have a list of birthdays of past and present members, whoever I could find. If you'd like to contribute to this (correct mistakes, find stuff I'm missing, help go earlier than '04) just e-mail me with stuff, or post here if you prefer. Also, just in case you're wondering: the reason I'm doing this instead of my BoE scenario is because I'm collaborating, and my partner's been too busy to do much with it lately, so I have to do other things while I'm waiting. (I also have the top 50/bottom 20 BoE scenario listings up to date.) In fact, it comes in exactly one month from today! No, no, not the end of the world. I'm talking about the final installment in Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, which is called The End. Does anybody here read/like this series? I've read each of the books one time in sequential order. Strange thing is, I'm really looking forward to this last book, but I've never read any of the other books more than once. The reason that you found most BoE scenarios to be horrible is probably because you trusted SW's tables, which (for BoE) are pretty much defunct. This is a much better place to decide what scenarios to play. Many people (including myself) would say the best surpass Jeff's games. Okay, there's one more thing I don't really understand: what's with submitting to Spiderweb? At least for BoE, everyone is always complaining that their tables are defunct, and there's better places for BoE scenarios.
