In fact, it comes in exactly one month from today! No, no, not the end of the world. I'm talking about the final installment in Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, which is called The End. Does anybody here read/like this series? I've read each of the books one time in sequential order. Strange thing is, I'm really looking forward to this last book, but I've never read any of the other books more than once. I've also never heard this series talked about here before, so I'm not sure why I'm asking about it, but still. :P -------------------- "Let us see what the new day brings." - Temas, Areni. I've read the series. Is the last book really called "The End"? Is it really coming out in a month? Well I, for one, will be buying it as soon as it's out. Posts: 587 | Registered: Tuesday, April 1 2003 08:00 |

All I know about it is that the movie was very dissapointing. I'm sure the books are better. I've just never read any. -------------------- "Even the worst Terror from Hell can be transformed to a testimony from Heaven!" - Rev. All I know about the series is that when the movie came out, Walmart sold this lemon-flavored soda called Lemony Snicket that was really good. Unfortunately, they no longer make it :( -------------------- "Tyranicus is about the only one that still posts in the Nethergate Forum." —Randomizer Spiderweb Chat Room Shadow Vale - My site, home of the Spiderweb Chat Database, BoA Scenario Database, & the A1 Quest List, among other things. I agree, the books were better than the movie, but it's not the movie's fault - I think it's just about as good as a movie about that series could be. Posts: 587 | Registered: Tuesday, April 1 2003 08:00 |

I love the Lemony Snicket books! There's also one out that is letters to/from Beatrice. I'm trying to convince my mom to get it for me. -------------------- Do not underestimate the power of the mechanical pencil. Join the Dark side. We have cookies.
