This entire thread is spam, and to be honest, It's quite annoying. Most people who spam get warned (as I did once in a galaxy far far away) and then eventually booted. Why is it that 4 pointfull topics get the moderators annoyed, but this entire pointless one doesn't? Cruel cruel world

StarCraft, but only with internet capabilities. Old school Doom. Half Life is nice. Ambrosia SW at AmbrosiaSW.com has some pretty good space combat like Escape Velocity, Escape Velocity Override, and Escape Velocity Nova (nova is the best). Also Dope Wars has quite a bit of entertainment, you can download it for free, just search for dope wars. Warcraft 1, 2, and 3. And a million others provide endless amounts of entertainment hours.

Edit: Oh also any Spiderweb Software (just to be an a**)

Please stop spelling "the" "teh". I find it quite annoying to read personally.

What does everyone think about scenarios that are based upon the idea that another part of the storyline will be built afterwards (beside the fact that some editors crap out and never finish them)? Would you rather have a scenario that ends, and then is never continued, or one that is a constant storyline that ends after a couple (or three) scenarios?

I am unsure whether or not 7.1 would be compatible. However, instead of posting, why don't you just try?

You make a persuasive argument, but I think I will still keep it as a side project. While it main drain some creativity, the entire basis of "Blades of Avernum" is the Avernum part. If someone has no creativity to start, then obviously they would be unable to make something good out of it. However when you have a landscape, and free reign beyond it, anyone who is actually skilled should be able to make something creative with minimal difficulty. I will continue this project when I feel tired of doing my actual scenario, and eventually, I will finish. I have pretty good determination, and as I said before, I realize that at BEST it will be tedious.

Well, I guess I like wasting my time. If you can come up with a good reason beyond the normal petty bullshoot of "You'll never finish it." then please, let me know.

I have decided to recreate Avernum. While I realize that this will be a tedious and slow task at best, I think it will be worthwhile. I am going to recreate it to an EXACT replica of Avernum 2. I plan on doing all the terrain, (no scripting or creatures or whatnot yet) and then distributing it for people to work with. I think that Avernum was an excellent setting, and would probably be appreciated (though not as much as I might hope) by all of you. If anyone would like to help (instead of telling me that it will eventually just sit on my desktop as you all seem fond of doing) then please, load avernum 2, go to the vahnatai lands, and make some exact replicas of the areas around and up to (insert name after tunnel here) I forgot the name, but the first vahnatai town you step into, (past the tunnel/river system). Anyone who feels they need to say something derogitory to my goal, please refrain from being a jerk.

A problem with pants in Blades of Avernum Editor

Does anyone know if there is a way to make it so NPC's will react differently depending on what a person is wearing? For example, a person wearing pants could talk to people, a person without pants would be told to put on some pants. Any ideas?

How to raise money? in General

Being 15 I don't think he legally can get a job (i'm not sure though) anyways heres what you do. Get on the computer and print out a flyer that says 10 EASY WAYS TO MAKE MONEY for a title. Then underneath it put send 2$ to (insert your address here) and then when their money arrives send them back a letter that says.
1. Get a job
2. Keep a job
3. Beg people for extra spending money (but tell them it's for food)
4. some others, dont really care what
10. Get everyone to send you 2$

BTW: this will probably never work.
