Socialism is achieved mainly through the present system of government, elections etc. Communism is outside the present system designed to kill it rearrange everything major upheaval. Lol yeah I now. But lets not define what Capitalism is. I just used it as a snappy title. I want to now who has 200-300,000. They either lied or are quite a bit older. I guess I'm lucky having a family business which I could work at from a very young age. It pays only 10 dollars an hour and I only work there in the summer. But I've managed to accumulate 45,000. Being that I'm 19 and this was my first year of college I'm sure it will begin to decrease. Are there any stock market players here? I mainly use GIC's for investment. Still really pitiful rates of interest 3% or lower. I've heard that like 15 years ago interest rates in basic savings accounts were close to 11%. Now that's return. -------------------- I stop rubber at 160km/h, five times a week. CANUCKS RESPEK! My Style The Knight Between Posts. Posts: 2395 | Registered: Friday, November 2 2001 08:00 |

I was thinking about a smaller scale. But its too late now. Feel free to make another more comprehensive one. I don't like that idea. We should avoid meritocracy if possible. Though there's nothing I could do to stop it from being done. -------------------- The Knight Between Posts. Posts: 2395 | Registered: Friday, November 2 2001 08:00 |

It is true regardless, that any person taking the time to design and finish a scenario is worthy of praise. I believe Bahsikahva is a more enjoyable scenario than Canopy. That matters little as I am but one person. I have played both, and in the future perhaps will play more TM scenarios. People do not have to like something because it comes from a well established designer. I am also curious about why Kelandon must be careful designing scenarios. I assume you are talking about his perceived vast popularity being princess and all. [ Wednesday, May 18, 2005 19:22: Message edited by: VCH ] -------------------- The Knight Between Posts. To defend my quotes which TM seems to have picked out, Jeff Vogel does write excellent dialogue, better than any of us. I simply meant that Kelandon worked very hard on dialogue and it came across at a very high level of interest. Now the first quote I probably should have put a period after "done" . As I meant combat was good. But I wanted a player to realise how many levels they might gain. The two ideas were not necessarily linked. Tek, yes Kelandon's is better. The cut scenes were easily some of the best I've seen. Canopy, Nothing wrong there either. On philosophy, I simply meant that Bahss is an Avernum scenario not some tirade about social issues. Not that philosophy is bad. But when it is painfully obvious it is not enjoyable. Good philosophy should force the audience to think not simply read over anthers obvious biases. -------------------- The Knight Between Posts. Zero results returned for me. Curse hyphenated last names! Since my last name is just my mothers then my fathers with a hyphen in-between, I can surely say I am the only one in the world with that last name.
