Um... ok TGM. Anyway, I think you should still give credit for where you got the graphics, regardless of the fact that he (Jeff) said you didn't have to. Just a small note of, "oh and these are from -blah-, by Spidweb." It's just the polite thing to do. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Actually, I'm gunna wait for more people, then I'll send it out all at once. It'll probably be a day (maybe a half as well). I'll also try to finish the final dungeon before then. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |

Second one in a few days! Maybe the community is picking up... Ok this is an EARLY Beta, meaning that it is almost complete, but missing a few details. I'm mainly doing this to see if a few techniques that I tried worked. Note to you: Final "dungeon" is incomplete, but I went ahead and put an exit-scenario node thinge in so you can leave and say you've beaten it. Things to note: Yes, this has a real plot with real RPG action. It is for low/mid level parties, meaning that anything above 15 will be too easy. The custom graphics use is, sadly, minimal, though there are some. You should also note that you cannot kill Maura Rose-Petal, so don't try. Besides, she's a good-gal and is only there to make your life easier. Also, this is the first in either a dualogy or a trilogy (I haven't decided yet), so the plot may not make full sense to those who don't pay attention to every detail, ie, play it like it's meant to be played I really don't care about your testing experience, so anyone who wants to try it can. All I'll need is... Moniker (name): E-mail: Reason I should send it to you: Are you an idiot/lamer?: After that I'll just send it to you and you can make fun of my poorly named characters. If I may brag, I believe it is a quality effort, and the final version may be worth your troubles. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Who made the game? Find out that and search for a site or something. Then see if you can find a patch. Other than that, I can't help much. -------------------- The critics agree! Perhaps I read it wrong, but you said that you thought the Strength Elixer would make the enemy miss? Strength potions make you stronger. So that you hit for more damage. I also believe it lowers the damage taken, but does not increase your agility. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |

I've always pronounced the sliths as slith-zer-AH-kee. When you look at the spelling, it doesn't make sense, but oh well. Of course I usually call them sliths anyway, so it doesn't really matter. -------------------- The critics agree! Demonslayer is "a five star hit!" raves TIMES Weekly! You need puzzles that don't really seem like 'puzzles' when you are playing them. It's bad (in my opinion) if the RPGer walks up and says to himself, "Alright, now to figure out this puzzle!" It's important to remember that this is an RPG, and people roleplay. You want them to relate to what's going on, and to care how it turns out. I personally, like puzzles that can end multiple ways. It's always nice to have different results if you, say, go right or left. And (just incase...) it's also important to realize that the term "puzzle" doesn't have to describe a room with boxes to move into place to progress. I'm going to assume you knew that. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |
