(It's not a Spiderweb game, it's another one.)
It says Error in line at address and then a bunch of numbers. Is there any way to fix this before I have to resort to getting saved games bypassing that part? It only happens at one point in the game. It there any way to use res edit to fix this?
Or, more simply, if Im lucky you have a saved game for mac of Timelapse bypassing the Mayan world (already got the gene pod) then send it to cowscanfly@mindspring.com.
Please, I really want to finish the game :( .
PS:The game is OLD. The only saved games on the internet i could find were for PC. The boards are dead except for some people (all PC users). Which is why I am posting here in hopes one of you can help.

Seems to me like a bug in the game itself. We talk here about Spiderweb games, so I don't know how much I could help you.

Who made the game? Find out that and search for a site or something. Then see if you can find a patch. Other than that, I can't help much.

Macs are better then PC's in every way. I have had this computer for 4 years and it has froze up, 1 time.
My friends crashes almost every weak and he has a PC.
Besides, it can't be that hard to port a saved game of PC format to mac format, right? I have a PC saved game I got from somone, anyone (jeff vogal!!!) willing to port it to mac and I will gladly send it to you.

I've used macs and pc's extensively. They each have advantages and disadvantages, and both get the job ton effectively. Serving me with ridiculous amounts of goat porn. So lets not start another of these pointless flame wars.

On a side note, I remembered the login information for my old, abandoned account. Turns out I've been around longer than I thought I had.

*sets GIFTS on fire*

Stop slobbering over your pretty Mac. >8E

Also, save files are typically not compatible between Mac and PC versions of a program. Look for a patch for yours or GIVE UP AND DIE.

*beats GIFTS with a bat until he's no longer on fire*

I would be inclined to say you can give up without dying, but that might just be me. Anyway, it's just some game, is it really worth all that trouble?

I'll agree with zellie: If the game is that old, I'll bet a $100 used PC would do the trick (if, of course, you're willing to spend some money to finish).

Yep. If theres no patch to work on your mac and no authoratative person to help you get it fixed, you'll probably just have to give up on the game, no matter how much you want to finish it. :(

No No No. People port Entire PC games to Mac format, how hard would it be to port a small saved game to Mac format? There has got to be a loophole, or SOMEONE in this Universe that has a Mac and Timelapse.

Seems it has been rereleased by Barracuda, Inc. and can be bought as a special offer for $19.95.

Timelapse
Google is always a good idea. :)
