Problem already solved in Geneforge 4.

But otherwise. Why do you play this game when you complain about so many things?
I have never had a problems with any of those of things. Those changes would either be a waste of time to put in or they are..... useless? Bad?

Please, try not to think good and evil, black and white. It's pretty much a grey zone, IMO.
Which is one of the things I like about this series.

Sherman's March? Ah yes. "War is cruelty, there is no use trying to reform it. The crueler it is the sooner it's over." I believe it is.

No, their actions unintentionally lend support to the Shaper cause. What's going to convince the masses better? A bit about freedom, or 'proof' that their benevolent overlords were right all along?

I hadn't thought of that. You are correct.

And I suppose i should stop using the quotes Lepus timidus use...

And I'll just use the short version: I agree with The Ratt and Nioca.

So the Rebels are unintentionally supporting Shaper ideologies.

Eh... what? No they're not, they may be proving the shapers correct by their actions (This is my view, I'm pro-shaper. Just wanted to point that out.) but they are not supporting them, not intentional naturally, but neither are they doing it unintentionally.
That is rather difficult. You cannot do that, at least not the way the rebels are acting, they are opposing the shapers. Their somewhat extreme actions just show that the shapers are correct(At least to some degree.) but it does not mean they support them in any way.

That creations are savage, feral beasts and nothing more.

What?! No they're not. Well rogues tend to be... but anyway, no. Serviles are not feral are they? Or savage? No. Are fyoras feral? No, they're, well slaves, sortof. Only the rogue ones are feral or savage. So no, they are not all savage, feral beasts.

Well I can't see why you shouldn't be able to end up a general in the end, could be pretty cool.
But, in G1-3 you started out a shaper apprentice (Hope that returns in G5) and in G4 you start out pretty much a normal guy that then gets enhanced by the geneforge, I doubt he's gonna change that.
And it would mean starting at a higher level, you should, and I'm sure you will, start at level 1, so no full shaper etc. for you.
And it's much more fun to earn that power, it would also mean that your character would start out pro-shaper or pro-rebel, not fun, I want to shape (Hehe) my character myself, not start with a, pretty much, pregenerated character.

And I don't want to actually meet one of the characters from previous games, would also cause some problems I believe. Previous in background story, yes sir. Actual character from previous games, no thank you.

And AT15, this is about what characters you want to return in G5, nothing else.

That said:
Miranda - She's always in a good mood, even when she's one fire or in a rogue filled swamp.

Alwan - He's cool? A great general in my mind and a true shaper that actually gets the job done.

General Crowley - I just think he's cool. No special reason.

Khyryk - I don't like trakovites, but he's cool in his own way.

*Sigh* So how many fyoras and serviles did you encounter in Avernum/Exile?

And why exactly do you think that the Trakovites form the empire?
It doesn't really seem like their style.

How big is G4? in Geneforge 4: Rebellion

G4 is a great game, though I prefer G1 and G2.
Mostly because I think that it is more fun when you don't really know what is going on (For some time anyway.), and you just know something is not right, better plot I guess.
More factions to join, I prefer Shapers but it is always much more fun that way.
And you are not forced to be some rebel scum. (Though you are not in G3 either.)

I mostly agree with Dikiyoba, except for the class thing, but that might just be me preferring to play a shaper, or something.

But you should probably choose G4, since we can't convince you to play the others, it is better than G3 (Though I am trying).

But let's try to compare them a bit:
I think that G4 has some more replayability than G3.
I also think that G4 is a bit longer than G3.
Then there is the thing that G4 has an improved action point system and the stuff in your inventory no longer counts towards emcumbrance.

So you should definitely go for G4, as that seems to be what you are asking for.

Well the surviving one of them will most likely know, if that's the case anyway.

Geneforge 3 - Problems and Lankan in Geneforge Series

In my opinion, Geneforge 1 & 2 is the best in the series, it went a bit downhill in Geneforge 3, while it improved slightly in Geneforge 4 and went downhill at the same time(mostly because I hate playing as a rebel and prefer playing as a shaper).

I would also like the means to remove quests, as I sometimes end up with pro-rebel quests I don't want, or can't complete because I already did something that prevents me from completing that quest.

The biggest mistake(in my opinion) in the series is that you can't skip the tutorial(correct me if I'm wrong).

Sometimes, if they were created to destroy some specific enemy I give them a name.

I found Exile 1 on some demo CD, liked it(even though I died pretty often), a couple of years later I remembered some game called Exile, searched for it and found Spiderweb, then not so long ago I tried clicking on the button called forums.
