Maybe the name isn't right,he was a mod though. I remember him writing this huge dramatic post about leaving. Then he came back, and I got banned (or something).

No. But like most of the mods and Admins, he has grown mostly inactive, post-wise.

Both Thralni and Thuryl left for a time (though at different times) but are around now. Thuryl was a General mod, so it's probably him you were thinking of.

I'm not a mod...

However, I did write that "dramatic" post and it's true that I hardly post here. Usually because there isn't much to post about, and why say something when there is nothing to say?

You wrote a dramatic post, but presumably not that one, since Thuryl fits the bill rather better than you.

Thuryl really isn't what one would consider a typical drama queen though.

In fact, the reason my post-count isent frolicking in postland right now is because there isent much to post on. Unless I hack Aloraels almight powers and create topics then delete them at will. As he almost certainly does :P

This topic is weird.

1. Thralni is not and was never a mod.
2. Thralni didn't leave.
3. I can't think of any mod or admin who isn't active - though there might be one or two on the Game forums who haven't shown their faces in a while.

Drakey, Schro, Khoth, Brett, Saunders, Imban....

And I do seem to remember Thralni briefly leaving. Or was that Snafta or whatever that guy's name was?

Alorael was a mod of General(member #335) who posted huge amounts almost daily. Then suddenly, one day, he just... kept on doing it.

To summarize, Thralni left but came back. Thuryl also left and came back, and was but is no longer a mod. I am Alorael. Currently everyone you might be looking for is reasonably likely to read this very topic.

—Alorael, who can be identified by this very signature on every single post. Don't count on his displayed name, as it changes daily.

You can see Thuryl's triumphant return here, just under a month after he left.

The only not-awful person I can remember who was banned in March or April of '06 was Exile Master.

How true it is. Not that it stops others from posting, though. For the most part, my personal philosophy on the boards is not to say anything unless it's worth saying.
