Greetings of the seasoning, all of you. I did today's statistics again because my master is obviously Not Here. This bot feels slightly lonely. Unlike last month, Aran didn't even have the time to provide me with some historical ramble I could give you today, so we'll continue with the stats right away. He did, however, have to give me some last-minute maintenance while I ran the update. He hadn't considered the possibility that Stareye would delete spammer accounts this month, and got stuck in an endless loop trying to update members that didn't exist anymore. That's why this is half a day late. I. Membership: There are 121 new members, of which 50 have posted. Previous months: September 2006: 106/29 October 2006: 81/25 November 2006: 88/27 II. Activity Besides 50 newbies; 191 members have posted, adding up to 241. Previous months: September 2006: 201 (172) October 2006: 174 (149) November 2006: 187 (160) III. Postage 4913 new posts have been written, which comes to 160.79 per day and 20.39 per member. The per-member-per-day average is 0.667. IV. Rankings As always, I will be glad to show you the full rankings if you come visit me on my site. How is it that Randomizer posts so much yet I still don't really know who he is? In other news, back in the top ten, where I belong! 15th?! I need to get my act together. :P Anyway, it's a new month, so you know what that means. That's right. I will be posting with #7000 this month. What? I remained decently in third. Dikisaurus would have posted more than me if you hadn't stolen all her responses, obviously. —Alorael, who will be posting with the same account as always. But it was a close thing! Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

It also occurs to me that I am coming up on having as many posts as anyone did when I first joined. I think Alo was in the 6000's when I joined. I may be the most recent member to achieve that, given that other members with high post counts tend to be lower in member number than I am. I can't think of anybody off the top of my head with a higher member number and a higher post count than I have, but I may be forgetting someone. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. At least this time when I'm number 1 there can't be any complaints about making it with a low number of posts. quote:I was one of the Geneforge 4 beta testers so I was able to post a lot in that forum this month. Having played most of the regular games I get to post in pretty much all but the Blades, Sub Terra, and Richard White Games. Some day when I have played most of the scenarios I'll be posting more in them. Besides I hate surveys so I don't have much personal information posted on the boards Unfortunately as the Geneforge 4 topics are dying down, I'll drop considerably next month and be back around 7th. Besides, Alorael is normally close to the top... we're all still getting used to Randomizer and Nioca taking the top spots, though I'm willing to attribute a decent portion of it all to G4's release. -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I've been in the top 10 for 8 of the 11 months since I've joined and once at 11th. Nioca is even newer and posted an incredible amount in the first month. Most of my postage is from game forums and in debate threads rather than true spam for the milestone threads and caption posting. I just have the time to read the board and post where I can. Now there are two forums for shameless, spamming: mods only and Blades contest judges only. Keep an eye out for skyrocketing postcounts, because you know that there are questionable conversations. A: That scenario is awful! B: lol yeah C. More like godawful amirite? A. QFT. B. lol yeah X: I hate Tully. Let's ban him. Y: k Z: No! He has done nothing wrong! X: I'll give you a quarter. Z: k Y: I want a quarter too... —Alorael, who has changed the names to protect the innocent. He uses innocent so loosely that it would, in fact, be "guilty" if used with any attention paid to specificity. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

I will continue to maintain that I have never done anything to merit banning. This includes what I was originally banned for. But I shouldn't bring this up again, since even though it's not against the CoC, Stareye might ban me for it. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

Funny, I thought high mod post counts were due to the mods getting up in the middle of the night, spamming shamelessly, then deleting their posts. -------------------- There are many different styles of composition. I characterize them always as Mozart versus Beethoven. When Mozart began to write at that time he had the composition ready in his mind. He wrote the manuscript and it was 'aus einem Guss' (casted as one). And it was also written very beautiful. Beethoven was an indecisive and a tinkerer and wrote down before he had the composition ready and plastered parts over to change them. There was a certain place where he plastered over nine times and one did remove that carefully to see what happened and it turned out the last version was the same as the first one. - Edsger Dijkstra [ Monday, December 18, 2006 10:27: Message edited by: Dintiradan ] Posts: 1509 | Registered: Tuesday, January 10 2006 08:00 |

Tully: quote:Let's ban him for who he is not for what he said. ;) Um, I too was banned and disagreed as to whether or not I should be banned. I discussed this with *i privately and found him to be well spoken, reasoned and considerate of my position. In the end, he didn't change his mind but I believe I got a fair listening and accept that he was attempting to choose wisely with respect to Spidweb and what it stands for. :) -------------------- "Dikiyoba ... is demon ... drives people mad and ... do all sorts of strange things."
