"Prefer not to disclose" is a rather odd option for an anonymous survey. Also, let it be known that Slarty is the People's Choice. The people demand Slarty for emperor. quote:Looks like the gender of people here does change by the hour. An average spiderwebber is now a 20 year old (38%) male (87%) single (74%) bored (32%) atheist (32%). I wonder why girls usually reply to these things faster than guys. New here. Hi all. Seems this crowd is younger than I would have thought, hope that doesn't mean these boards are a childish waste of time. The ones on the games themselves are good though. Someone must have spent a lot of time creating those walkthroughs, are there some for every game? Posts: 1 | Registered: Monday, November 20 2006 08:00 |

There are usually walkthroughs for all but the newest game that is currently being written. When all else fails you can use search within a game forum or post a question. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

You could call these boards a 'childish waste of time'. The same could go for games, or any sort of amusement. It's all a matter of perspective. I must say, though, that those behave immaturely or inappropriately tend to get kicked out the door sooner or later. Oh, and before I forget: Welcome to the Spiderweb Software Forums! Aside from the hint books made by Spiderweb for every game, there are walkthroughs of varying quality for all the games. You'll generally find better material for the newer games for reasons I don't even want to attempt to explain. —Alorael, who may have to look into that. He believes Nethergate, A1, and A3 have been given the most exhaustive walkthroughs, but he hasn't been paying attention to the Geneforges and hasn't looked at the Exile walkthroughs for a while. Nioca, saying "leave your sanity at the door" to somebody who said that he hopes these boards aren't too childish might not be a good idea. PS About walkthroughs, all of Schrodinger's are very thorough. The old Exile ones less so. quote:Thou shalt not attach the third person singular present tense suffix "-eth" to each verb regardless of case. Honestly, you all went wrong when you dropped inflections from English. The end result is that when you do try to use them, you have to work out where they belong. :P But it's very easy really - just pronounce verbs with a lisp. If it ends in 's', it should end in 'th'. Not otherwise. -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. All walkthroughs made for BoE and BoA scenarios are kept here. It's just because we English speakers have no idea how to conjugate. Once conjugation makes sense the rest is easy. —Alorael, who invites everyone to try to try out the Spanish lisp in English. It's much harder than you might think to lisp your C's and Z's but not your S's. And then you have to figure out whether or not you should be paralythed by American English or paralysed in British English. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |
