I would like to thank you all in advance for your votes of confidence and support in most likely to take #1.

The Silent Assassin firmly believes that pie in the sky is an admirable thing.
Especially when it lands on the proper target.
I personally feel that it's only a good thing when I am not the target.

Must push onward. Nothing like a good post race, haven't had one of those in a while...

Actually I think your posts in the hidden forums count and you can use it to hide the multiple consecutive posting from the rest of us. I'd do it but it seems too much like work and I'm sure I'd get banned.

Next month I'll have a better chance to make the top 3. I started out too late to do better than the top 8.

I can neither confirm nor deny whether or not excessive posting has occurred in said hidden forums, not confirming nor denying that said forums exist, but if they did, then I could neither confirm nor deny the excessive posting on them.

And the next thing we know, you're going to say something to the extent of "Well, that depends on what your definition of 'post' is."

The Silent Assassin is away, touring the country in Cram Time, creating devious events and mostly harmless accidents for those who both won and failed to win elections.
It amazes me how many non-politicians are on his list of targets.

Next thing you know there'll be people saying the race is fixed. Well, I say it wasn't broken in the first place!

This will become like eBay except instead of last second bidding it will a flurry of post coming on the 17th. There will be complaints about the time Aranbot finally closes the race for this month.

Your command of English has improved dramatically in the past year. Are you another of Aran's bots?

Thank you.

I'm not a bot: I'm just a person who appreciate correct grammar, punctuation and capitalization: and since in italian forums these things are not apprecciated and even discouraged, I have to stay here. But hey, as I said before, this is the best community ever for me. You are all great people, and I own a big debt to everyone, for all the English, the friendship, the support.

Thanks everyone.

Wow, I'm a bit sentimental tonight.

Oh, but we are all bots. Or rather, we are all parts of one schizophrenic bot with multiple personalities. Anything that leads you to believe otherwise is actually a false memory.

Dikiyoba hates to tell MagmaDragoon the sad, sad truth, but it had to be done.

-X-'s sentiments exactly. Only replace "friendship" and "support" with "hatred" and "disgust".

Not me. My bot would break down under the current conditions. :D

Current conditions? Why back on aught five we had a posting storm of such ferocity that it blew two forums right out of existance.

But of course I didn't participate, I consider such things beneath my dignity.

Yeah, but we haven't seen that much activity in quite a while. The bots wouldn't be used to it, and would probably crack under the pressure.

Besides, I am not a bot. I am a CPU.

I haven't heard that since 80286 took over. I finally realized how slow the 8086 and 8088 were using a spell checker.

I'm waiting to see how Aran's new posting bot works out. It takes previous posts and creates replies using a randomly chosen group of phrases taken from all our previous posts. This way he can keep up without having to do all the work.

Sorry for the double post, but I wanted not to have the topics get confused.

I told you when your mother was making you stop that posting here would help your English. Too bad it doesn't work as well with those who are born in the United States.

The 80186 is actually still in use as a CMOS bus controller on some current Intel systems, so that insult wasn't quite as bad as you thought it was, Salmon. :P
