Two adorable felines. Or, more accurately, one cat who is constantly whining, and one who... never mind.

FYI, you can vote in your own poll.

I don't know how many pets I (or rather, my family, since I'm away from home) have at the moment. I know I have a cat and a dog, but my other dog recently suffered a stroke and I am uncertain whether my other dog is alive or dead.

On a happier note, Dikiyoba has two semi-feral cats who are friendly and stay close to Dikiyoba's house.

I voted 'shaped' so I could see the results, as I have no pets at all.

This probably shouldn't be a poll, just a question, since there are so many pets one could have, like sea monkeys. Hey I had some of those once! Worst pet ever.

At home, I have 3 dogs, 6 cats, one tortise, lots of fish.
There are also three ferral cats that live at our house because we feed them.
Sea monkeys are a boring pet.

Aside from the obvious comparison of husband to dog and kids to cats....

I've a dog. She's a pretty decent animal, although her habit of shoving her nose into my ear is getting old. Apparently she noticed that I put her outside when she annoys me...

We have three parakeets back home (it was four until July, but one of them died as the result of a freak accident), plus the four or five stray cats that enjoy using our patio for sunbathing.
I do have a very strong attachment to the black housecat that belongs to my girlfriend's family.

Well, my suitemates and I have a fish (there used to be five...). Why wasn't fish an option?

And at home, my family has a hamster, who is going on something like three years.

One budgie, two finches, two cats. We used to have an extra budgie and a canary, but the budgie died a year ago and the canary died a few months ago.

I don't have any pets myself, but we do have fish. I try not to have anything to do with them, they're boring and not even particularly pretty to look at. Stupid fish.

I want a dog. :\

I've only ever had cats. There are two right now. Throughout my life there have been a total of seven.

I had an adorable green budgie for 11 years, after which he unfortunately (if inevitably) died.

If I ever move somewhere where I can keep pets, I'm getting a cat.

Technically, I might be allowed to have a cat in the room I'm living in now, but the cat definitely wouldn't be happy with 12 square meters of personal space and having to use the lift or staircase to get out, so there.

And unfortunately, my mother is allergic to cats, which rules out letting him/her stay at my parents' house.

Edit: "Shaped"? As in a fyora? I'd love to have one. Also, does "Dead" apply to my budgie, or are we talking zombies/vampire bats here?

Vampire bats are actual living creatures, so they don't fit into that category. You can have a zombie budgie if you really want it, though. Fyoras also make good pets, but they have to be well trained and a fire extinguisher should be kept close by at all times.

Dikiyoba forgot to mention Neo the fyora earlier. How embarrassing.

I wish my camera was working right now. I'd love to show you a picture of Sydney, my adorable, hormone-influenced felis domesticus.

I have a dog. Labrador retriever, to be exact.

Would cryoa work just as well as a fire extinguisher?

Be careful with a word, as you would with a sword,
For it too has the power to kill.
However well placed word, unlike a well placed sword,
Can also have the power to heal.

Alec has the most gorgeous Golden retriever ever. If I were to have more than one dog I'd definitely look into a retriever.

I used to have six lovebirds, all from two parent birds. But then two of the younger ones were stung by some spider or wasp or something, and they both died. Since then I've started to pay more attention to my birds and I have to say, they do some pretty interesting things.

Hey, I have a calico named Sidney. Spelled differently, but coincidence nonetheless.

I'd post a pic, but… eh, I'm lazy.

The plot thickens further. Sydney is a calico-tabby mix, also known as a Torti. Imagine a calico, but with black hair and the markings of a tabby. They all tend to be small, but also tend to have ear tufts and large paws, that make them look somewhat similar to a bobcat.

I also had another cat like this. Melee, who was actually feral when she was first brought in. I have a picture of her somewhere...

Then there's Sasha, a nine-year-old male Siamese. He has a somewhat hostile temperament (to me, anyway... ) and is rather fat. Oh, and he has lost most of the hair on his stomach.

-X- himself has a Bearded Dragon. Yes, that is a real animal. -X- would post a picture, but his camera isn't working and he has no photos on tap.

And now, because -X- is currently secluded from Dikiyoba The Great's Episode Three : A New Game. . .

:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

That's no excuse! :P

EDIT: I got another flood warning from UBB. I'm pondering upon whether or not I should build an Ark.

Of course it is! Anything is an excuse! The pan lever jog at three could be an excuse! Not a good one, but hey. It's still there. Besides, -X- stopped doing that.
