Someone remember this interview? Is a little old, in fact, but I seen this only now: quote:This project is still alive? It says "in case". In all likelyhood, it was pure speculation or possibly a joke. -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. Far more likely is that Jeff wants to play a game. I hear the 360 has decent graphics. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

There is no way in hell I will ever buy, use or otherwise get in contact with a game console (let alone an Xbox), so I don't have any input to offer there. -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. That can't be an original box... the Seal of Quality wasn't around at first. And where's my SMB1/Duck Hunt split cartridge? :P -------------------- Slarty vs. Desk • Desk vs. Slarty • Timeline of Ermarian • G4 Strategy Central Posts: 3560 | Registered: Wednesday, November 7 2001 08:00 |

You know, seeing the NES box makes a guy think... it looks so 70's. Ah... ultimate video action... all thy cared about was the fact that they could... no need for plot of fancy graphics... and it was either that, pong, or atari at first. And now we have PS3 (eventually) and XBox 360 and the Wii. And the graphics and processor races. And companies switching platform loyalties (fie upon microsoft for screwing up perfect dark). The only good that comes from such things? Super Smash Brothers and Final Fantasy. And Metroid and LoZ. Occasionally. -------------------- The Silent Assassin has somehow convinced the local city planning board that it would benefit the community to re-zone our curent industrial district for nuclear waste. *won't touch anything that's not Nintendo with a ten-foot pole* That new Wii thing just sounds crazy. It sounds like some kind of gateway to Nintendo crossing over to, like, virtual reality or something, from what I've heard about it (translation: my little brother quoting "Nintendo Power" magazine at me :D ). -------------------- A C, an E-flat, and a G walk into the Tower of the Magi. quote:If you can call it Final Fantasy. I refuse to associate anything with the combat style of the abomination known as Kingdom Hearts with the Final Fantasy Franchise. To get back on topic, I don't think he would create a game for the X Box. It wouldn't work right on that console. Plus it would require too much work and he would need to live up to the graphics of the X Box. I like the graphics just fine the way they are and the gameplay is what's important. -------------------- Ignorance Is bliss -Cypher (Matrix) Don't think you can; know you can -Morpheus (Matrix) sanity is overrated :) Posts: 130 | Registered: Monday, February 7 2005 08:00 |

And in my mind, Final Fantasy stopped with 7 and probably should have stopped with 6. But hey. I do think choosing the name "Wii" was a horrendous, abominable marketing decision. But doesn't Nintendo go on these "virtual reality" kicks every few years? Does anyone else remember the Virtual Boy? Now that was a bomb. -------------------- Slarty vs. Desk • Desk vs. Slarty • Timeline of Ermarian • G4 Strategy Central Posts: 3560 | Registered: Wednesday, November 7 2001 08:00 |
