OK. I know he's pretty much asking for it, but you guys are being rather mean to him. Give it a rest, will you? On topic, Dragonlance has gone downhill considerably since its conception in the 80's. I like the Weiss and Hickman novels up through Dragons of Summer Flame. The War of Souls series was pure crap. A few of the other authors like Richard Knaak and Jean Rabe have some good books, but my general feeling on Dragonlance is that you have to wade through a lot of excrement to get to the good stuff. Off the topic of bashing Arggh, and back to the real subject, the books. I read the original ones a while ago and thoguht they were good. When they started bringing in new authors and making tons of spin offs I stopped reading them. Like Tyranicus, I liked the Weis and Hickman ones through Dragons of Summer Flame and was greatly disappointed at the War of Souls garbage.
