I am wondering what is your favorite comic book in book size format or graphic novel. I enjoyed Watchmen quite a bit, also 300 by Frank Miller, also finished one recently called Invincible-- great stroy. For those who like comicslit-- Narcissa by Lance Tooks was great. Very poetic. Anybody have any of their latest faves. Especially current things and new releases. -------------------- Wasting your time and mine looking for a good laugh. For me it would have been Todd McFarlane's rebirth of the Spiderman series... back in the day. :( Posts: 2242 | Registered: Saturday, April 10 2004 07:00 |

I like Usagi Yojimbo. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the author's name, and do not have a copy of any of the books on hand(currently, all I have on my hand is skin). Anyways, it's about a samurai bunny's adventures. :P -------------------- If anyone ever asks you why you did something, say "Because I could". Posts: 834 | Registered: Thursday, July 8 2004 07:00 |

Transmetropolitan, by a mile. Can't decide which is the best one, because I'm still in the process of accumulating the series. -------------------- Voice of Reasonable Morality Posts: 961 | Registered: Thursday, June 12 2003 07:00 |

The author of Usagi Yojimbo -- Rabbit Bodyguard is Stan Sakai. Stan Sakai also does the lettering for Sergio Aragones Groo. Groo is one of my favorite barbarians. -------------------- Wasting your time and mine looking for a good laugh. Star Bright, Star Light, Oh I Wish I May, I Wish Might, Wish For One Star Tonight. My favorite comics would be my friends. He used to make a violent comic entitled 'Mario VS Link'. I thought they were funny. These days I like reading MAD magazine, as well as Australias mag Ralph. -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Polaris Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

My favourite comic would have to be 8-Bit-Theatre It looks pretty oldschool at the start but it gets really nice looking and hilarious later on. You need to read it from the start to understand it though. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

Asterix gets my vote. Although i do have one large graphical book from Discworld, and it is particularly awesome. -------------------- A Sucaran Child is standing here. *nods* Sandman is very good. I've been reading Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, which is good, but confusing. -------------------- I am a pale shadow of the previous self. quote: Deep down, you know you should have voted for Alcritas! Posts: 387 | Registered: Tuesday, March 1 2005 08:00 |
