Don't you just love it when the planning topic starts to approach the length of some real RP topics? -------------------- KazeArctica: Oh yes. KazeArctica: Oh YES Posts: 93 | Registered: Sunday, September 30 2001 22:00 |

I sent MSW the first version of the map. You might be able to see it on geocities, but I expect they'll block it. I'll post my character later. -------------------- Visit The Santharian Dream and its RP board. Or the Encyclopaedia Ermariana! Got a brain? Go to Polaris! Remember to copy+paste the url into a new window and it works just fine. (Geocities doesn't allow direct linking) -------------------- There was no happy ending. Posts: 995 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

That is not a map, it is the letter U. -------------------- AnamaFreak (3:59:56 AM): Shounen-ai to the MAX ...there really is nothing that can compare to hot gay sex with a mythological icon. --665 Posts: 2367 | Registered: Friday, June 27 2003 07:00 |

Should I feel insulted? No, seriously, why do you compare the map to random letters? It's a valley, all right? All right, it's a little bare of anything else, such as rivers, trees, etc., but it's still a map of a valley! -------------------- Visit The Santharian Dream and its RP board. Maps are commonly designed so you can get from point A to point B. They therefore have details. That is merely a particularly rugged O. -------------------- "I particularly like the part where he claims not to know what self-aggrandisement means, then demands more wing-wongs up his virgin ass" Posts: 961 | Registered: Thursday, June 12 2003 07:00 |

Yes, but this is just the first version. MSW didn't tell me where any of the details are. Forests, rivers, lakes, volcanoes, deserts, towns, ruined temples & dungeons, way-side inns, fast-food restaurants and gas stations will be added later on. -------------------- Visit The Santharian Dream and its RP board. Most maps will get you from A to B. THis one gets you from U to O. -------------------- Grammar wenches beware: This is the house that the malt that the rat that the cat that the dog that the cow that the maiden that the man that the priest that the cock that the farmer kept waked married kissed milked tossed worried killed ate lay in. Sorry I had therapy to go to. Sheesh, gone for a bit and the topic goes weird. The map is now done. So all I have to do is wait for Arancaytar or someone else here to post it somewhere online and link me to it. That way I can add it to the written RP and get it started. Arancaytar approved what I had shown him before I went on to finish it, so it should be decent. -------------------- (Looks around in the Study) Colonel Mustard: "Just checking." I'll upload the map to my geocities account in six hours, roundabout, after I caught some sleep (which is night over here, just so you know ). I'll also make my character shortly after that. Will there be a basic map availiable to all characters, or will we just be going on what the moderator tells us about a particular area ? What I mean is, giving a fully detailed map of a relatively unexplored continent out for anyone to see would spoil a bit of the surprise, don't you think? [ Friday, June 04, 2004 13:10: Message edited by: Mordrith ] -------------------- Part of a shot contest is knowing when to say "Yeah, I'm done", and not yelling "Frrreeedom !" like William Wallace instead. ...? You're new, aren't you? Well hello dearie. To answer your queries: There is a map (or is going to be), and it will be put up when they start the RP. Unless the mods play a role (and not many do nowadays), they will have no involvement unless it gets "heated". No, it's not of the whole continent, it's just of The Valley of Thunder. Which is an area that has been explored. Finally, no-one ever really thinks, it's all just a figment of the imagination. Do not make me come over there Djur. I'll act like my grandmother if I want to. However, I would agree that as the map is ready and MSW seems to know what he's doing, it's probably time to get the show on the road folks. -------------------- I like to say quack because I can, I like to say moooo because I can, but I don't like saying ergle flmp because I can never pronounce phenomenon first try.
