Just for those who haven't noticed, we nearly have 4000 members! Anyone know how many of them have actually posted / haven't been alternate identities?

Almost half of them are invisible newbies.

Wow, I would have thought that it was more than half. (Then again, I'm seeing many new faces recently.)

Yeah, I remember, back in my prime newb days, when there was less than 2000. That was back in the days when I thought Drakey was some kind of guru, now I'm smarter. IMAGE(4000 Members_files/tongue.gif)

Im just hoping that the 4000th member is someone that will actually be a positive member of the boards and not some ******* who acts like one and disrespects everybody.

Of course now that I hoped that would happen my bad luck just made sure that the exact opposite of what I want will happen.
Same thing for 5000 6000....

Probably around $20. Anything more than that is kinda pointless...

Once there's 4000 members I'll put a round on the house. Till then I'm keepin' my money.

I'm a newbie, and NOT someone else's cover identity; in other words, I'm not TGM.

I'm going for number 4000 as well, and I think Arancaytar is too. The chances of the account going to a genuine newbie are slim.

—Alorael, who doesn't think he'll actually get it. But it wouldn't be right to give some random newcomer all the bragging rights of a nice, round account number, would it?

You neglect to mention that myself and my ferrets are gunning for the magic number as well. If, as I expect, I fail, I will seize #4444 as my consolation prize.

I guess I will go for it too. Just hoping that nobody gets angry and a "new person" getting the title. But hey its better then a complete stranger. IMAGE(4000 Members_files/biggrin.gif)

I think just about everybody is going for said member number. I know I am, though it's doubtful, seeing though I'm always at Chance.

Your assumption is correct, of course. It'll be quite a while 'til I can get even a sniff of 4444, but I'm still holding out hope for 4000, even though in order to do so I'll be forced to contend against a whole crowd of you jackanapes. IMAGE(4000 Members_files/tongue.gif)

See, that's because the FF games typically cater to people who drool over Sephiroth.

Except for X-2, which caters to people who drool over Rikku.

Only one number would satisfy my pomposity. Number 1. But since that is impossible, I'll settle for No. 5050. And I'm not an invisible newbie! YAY FOR ME!

Also, I have only one identity, except at night when I became a world famous cat burgalar called Steve.

And thanks to everyone who is voting to change my Karma. Some nasty piece of cheese gave me a bad name, so I've gotta work hard to shake it off. We can do it kids!

So, uh, what does the 4000th member actually get? I propose we duct tape them to the wall and staple a copy of the CoC to their shirt. And no, I don't know why.
